Reassuring to be able to make an appointment for emergency service quickly. Even more reassuring to have such a competent doc and dental assistants who worked well with him. They too were highly skilled and knew how to make me comfortable and relaxed with the process involved in capping my tooth. The office staff was helpful too in sorting through insurance and paper work so that I could decide whether to proceed with the work, which I did. Thank you to all. The decision to use Dental Care of Deltona was a very good one in many ways!

I had a very concerning experience at this dental office and would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any major treatment here. During my visit, I was told I had over a dozen cavities and needed extensive dental work. This was surprising because I had been going to the dentist regularly prior to this and had never been told anything close to that. What made me uncomfortable was how the information was presented. I was not clearly shown or walked through the X-rays in a way that helped me understand what was actually wrong. Instead, the conversation quickly shifted toward a large treatment plan, and there was a noticeable sense of pressure to move forward. Because it didn’t feel right, I went to another dentist for a second opinion. They found significantly fewer issues and recommended a much more conservative (and less expensive) treatment plan. The difference between the two evaluations was huge. At the second office, the dentist took the time to explain everything clearly and only recommended treatment where it was truly necessary. That experience made it clear that my initial diagnosis here was likely excessive. I also felt uncomfortable with the overall tone of the visit. It came across as more sales-driven than patient-focused, which is not what you want when making decisions about your health. I would strongly encourage anyone visiting this office to take their time, ask questions, and consider getting a second opinion before proceeding.

I just had my first visit. I arrived a little early and was seen right on schedule. Everyone I came in contact with was friendly. I had filled out my contact information and medical information on line the day before. Everything went smoothly. They went right to work with X-rays photos and measurements. The Dr Khan took time to double check everything. We had a nice friendly chat about the treatments. My first visit was covered by insurance. I left with a plan of treatment showing what would be covered by insurance and what I will be responsible for. Based on my first visit I recommend them.

They respected my appointment time. The office personnel are very professional. Ana the hygienist is very thorough and knowledgeable. Dr. McDonald is personable and more interested in the patience needs than anything else. I was pleased with my experience and with my insurance they are reasonably priced.
