Implant placement is performed in the office under local anesthesia, and intravenous sedation is available for patients who feel anxious about surgery. Beyond implants, the office also provides full mouth reconstruction, oral surgery, sedation dentistry, routine checkups and cleanings, and cosmetic treatments such as crowns, bridges, veneers, bonding, tooth colored fillings, and teeth whitening. Meet the Doctors

Dental Implant Center of Syracuse operates within Martin & Winkler, DDS, and its implant dentistry is led by Dr. Emile Martin, DDS. Dr. Martin earned his dental degree from Temple University in 1974 and has practiced privately in Syracuse ever since. In 1985 he completed a three-year program in dental implantology at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, a Fellow and Past President of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and holds a Mastership from the Academy of General Dentistry. He also serves on staff at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center and as attending faculty in its general practice residency program. The practice's clinical team also includes Dr. Milia R. Alamir, DMD, who graduated from the University of Damascus in 2007, earned her dental degree with honors from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2013, and completed a general practice residency at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse in 2014.
