My friend referred me to Dr. Koga and Dr. Mark’s office and I’m really glad she did! I had somewhat of a tooth emergency and when I called to schedule an appointment they were super kind, great communicators, and were able to schedule me in pretty quickly. I went for my first consultation today and let me tell you, they use a lot of newer high tech technology, they are extremely thorough with checking each tooth and explaining what’s going on, they not only share with people verbally but also show you what they’re looking at on the tv screen as well. The hygienist, Janet, was so so nice and gentle - I really loved getting to know her better. And Dr. Koga was so personable, knowledgeable, and made me feel heard which is super important to me.
Because they are so thorough you do need to come in quite a few times but I will say that they’ll help create a customized plan for you on how to best take care of your teeth and the maintenance that comes with it. Definitely would recommend!

Excellent experience from start to finish. I arrived 15 minutes early to my appointment and the receptionist happily greeted me by name. I was called in after waiting less than 10 minutes and was now happily greeted by the Dental Hygienist. The Hygienist was very professional by explaining every step and frequently checking if i was ok. When the Hygienist was done, Dr. Koga immediately came to my chair to complete my check up and he was very friendly and explained well too.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kuioka and his practice. I’m someone with very high dental anxiety—mostly irrational (I’ve never had a truly bad experience; I just hate dentists and maybe I had to ask my pcp for a Xanax and maybe I still cried for a routine cleaning and cray visit…allegedly)—and when my previous dentist sadly passed away, I put off appointments for longer than I should have. From the moment I called, the team treated me with empathy and zero judgment.
At my visit, the front desk was warm and organized, the hygienist was gentle yet meticulous, and Dr. Kuioka was exceptional. He took time to listen, walked me through what he was seeing and why, offered options without any pressure, and checked in frequently to make sure I was comfortable. The technology is modern, the office feels calm, and the entire appointment was smoother and more comfortable than I imagined possible.
I left with a clear plan, confidence to follow through, and genuine gratitude. If you have anxiety about dental care—or you’ve been avoiding it—do yourself a favor and book with Dr. Kuioka. Compassionate, professional, and truly patient-centered. Highly recommend.

Easy to make an appointment, staff very friendly & helpful, very thorough for first time visit, was not rushed, staff took time to verify / clarify my provided info from on line forms. Dr. Is friendly & caring. Everyone made sure to explain what they were doing & what they recommended for my care & reasons for recommendations.

I was a patient here and paid my bill after my appointment. Apparently there was still a $10 balance remaining, but I never received a bill, voicemail, or any type of notification about it. Instead of contacting me directly, the office told one of my family members at her appointment that I owed them money.
This is extremely concerning and feels like a violation of patient privacy. Financial information related to a patient should never be shared with others without permission. I would be cautious, as it raises serious concerns about how they handle patient information.
