Very impressed with 4his facility they really have the state of the art equipment. They are super nice and all the way helpful I actually enjoyed the consultation. And they have more than just oral surgey it is all in one dental area. Heather Baily and dr verber all super nice to deal with and I will be going back. It makes a difference when someone cares and wants to help

Very disappointed with Dental Specialty Center’s billing department. The office manager was rude and unwilling to work with us at all. Instead of helping resolve concerns, the entire experience felt stressful and dismissive. Poor customer service.

I was in at the beginning of January had a tooth extracted it went great! Staff is friendly as well.. HOWEVER I did just come back yesterday to have one more tooth extracted and I had a different surgeon than I did my first visit. I don’t remember what his name was but while using a drill to break apart the tooth I was burned.. and not a minor burn like he made it seem and literally said it was minor and “it would be sore for about a week”. Once done I went to my car and saw the “minor burn” and kinda lost it. I have a hole in the corner of my mouth I can breathe through. I smelled my flesh burning during the extraction and thought to myself “there’s NO WAY that this man is going to let my cheek get in the way of that drill…” I was sadly mistaken. Here’s some photos of the handy work.. will it grow back?? According to them it will, but we’ll see what my doctor has to say today… Will I be seeing the surgeon who worked on me yesterday again? Absolutely not. Would I come back to see the first surgeon who worked on me the first time and is only there once a month??? 100% yes. As I said the office was great, they do have great staff at the front desk and the dental assistants are wonderful as well.. however it’s hard for me to be completely positive when I’m going to be permanently scarred from a damn tooth extraction.

I have never given a 1 star rating. Often I give the benefit of the doubt for bad days everyone has sometimes. My experience covers over a 4 month period. My consultation amounted to a disinterested doctor taking a peek and telling me extremely briefly about his recommendation without opportunity to question. He spent less than 5 minutes with me. The assistant could tell I was confused and a little scared so he explained things more thoroughly before letting me walk out. I decided to go through with the treatment because of his patience. I needed this to treat an infection that was just beginning, plus I had bone loss in my jaw. I was a little freaked out needed to just do it. The procedure was rough. I had a reaction to the local anesthetic that felt like a panic attack and the doctor seemed annoyed with me when I showed discomfort. The assistant did what she could to help including finding calming music. I felt really beat up and had severe pain through that night. More importantly, I felt like a piece of meat in the chair. There were a few instances of misunderstanding with the office and I mostly felt ignored and disregarded. I had to explain to please realize that I don't have knowledge in specialized dentistry and to use terms I understood when I was trying to gain clarity about what to expect. It seemed like I was being a squeaky wheel they just wanted to be rid of me after I paid the bill, in full, out of pocket. From the very beginning this office has been very disorganized and getting information I needed was very difficult and time consuming. There are a lot of 5 star ratings so maybe my case is an exception. The assistants/nurses were apologetic. The doctors just didn't care, like I was a waste of their time.
