Manager is very rude and they Do Not stand by their work. I do not recommend this office. We spent over 5 thousand out of pocket plus insurance. If the manager don't like you you're just screwed!!! I recommend Langan Dental & Health. The Manger also breaks Hippa Laws!!!

I have had a fear of the dentist for as long as I can remember. Due to multiple bad experiences at other facilities, I was very hesitant to schedule myself. I haven’t been to the dentist in years & found relief as soon as I was taken back. Dr. Largen & her staff were SO kind, patient & respectful. I would recommend Dental Wellness to anyone who is feeling anxious or embarrassed about their situation - great people here!

Absolutely terrible experience. Dentist’s Office terminated network coverage with my provider, but claims it’s not their responsibility to notify me. My appointment was a few months after coverage ended. The receptionist didn’t inform me that I was seeing an out of network provider, even though I asked. The hygienist repeatedly talked about service that would be covered by insurance and even submitted a future filling to see if my insurance would cover it. Office claims that they are in no way liable for communicating that information to me. And that if I didn’t want to pay the bill, they would just submit it to collections. In one phone conversation brought up collections. Before I was even late on the payment. Completely unwilling to see my perspective or take any responsibility when they were the ones ended coverage. Claimed not to have any responsibility to notify patients that they had ended their relationship with my provider. It would have been a courtesy to notify patients. I was also told that very few patients had that insurance, but that they can’t possibly notify everyone. Said that the dentist was not involved in any of the billing decisions, even though she owned the office and that she would not be notified that this was how patients were being treated. Gave zero deduction on the bill. Even added a late fee for a bill that I had just received for the first time. When I very first asked the receptionist why I was seen if my provider was not in network. She said, “ well we still thought they were going to pay. And we’ve only recently found out they they are not paying on claims.” I repeated this to the office manager that I spoke with and she just wrote it off and said, well sometimes they still pay. I think that should be my decision whether or not I’m willing to risk payment/denial. Watch out if you have dental insurance and visit this provider.

I cannot say enough good things about Dental Wellness. I didn’t go to the dentist until i was 16 because of finances and only went then because i had a cavity that had broken super far down giving me toothaches that hurt my whole body. Another dentist in town did surgery to remove it but later on became very rude to my mom and I when I didn’t get braces for my crooked teeth. Sent me to an orthodontist where we had a terrible experience. Then the dentist continued to talk down on us and said Invisalign was absolutely not a possibility with the state my teeth were in. When I got my own insurance I decided to go elsewhere and tried Dental Wellness. I am so glad I did. They were absolutely willing and encouraging of trying Invisalign for my teeth, so they did the scans and sent them off. Sure enough, I was eligible after all. I didn’t even have to use them for very long and I feel so much more confident and comfortable with my smile. It’s amazing how much it has changed. The Dental Wellness Center staff is kind, accommodating, and welcoming. They know you by name and work with you on scheduling. Dr Largen also got me a referral for wisdom teeth removal. I’ve recommended them to a lot of family and friends. Nobody loves dental work but I don’t dread it now that I go here. Seriously awesome people.

I absolutely LOVE this place and the people who work here. I am from out of town and cracked my tooth. I called as an emergency. They got me in the very next morning and were so kind. The dental assistant, Hollie, was really kind and made the visit fun. Dr. Valerie Largen kept me calm and really knew what she was talking about in a way that guided me to communicate to my dentist when I got home. I felt so relieved and well taken care of. Thanks to all of the women who work in this office! I highly recommend.

About Dental Wellness Center

Dental Wellness Center is a family dentistry practice located at 1310 Andrews Drive in Norfolk, Nebraska. The office provides individualized care to patients of all ages in a friendly, welcoming environment, and describes personalized, gentle, comprehensive patient care as its number one priority. Services span preventive, cosmetic, restorative, and reconstructive dentistry, including teeth cleanings and checkups, child dentistry, gum disease treatment, fillings, crowns, bridges, tooth extractions, non-surgical root canals, dental bonding, porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, and Invisalign.

For patients missing teeth, the practice offers dental implants, which it describes as small titanium posts placed into the jawbone to create a strong foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth. The office notes that implants can help preserve facial structure and prevent the bone loss that occurs when teeth are missing. Implant treatment begins with a dental and radiographic examination and health history review to discuss each patient's specific needs. The practice also provides a full range of denture services, including immediate dentures, partial dentures, and implant retained dentures, along with relines, repairs, and ongoing maintenance. Nitrous oxide is available for patients with dental anxiety.
