Great place. Very friendly and they explain everything in great detail. The dentist knows exactly what he is doing. He used his yoga ball during the procedure and listened to music. The yoga ball prevented his back from getting stiff during the procedure and I feel like it helped him to do a better job. Overall I am very satisfied with the level of care and attention I received and I will continue to go back. The office staff is amazing!

I do not recommend using this dentistry. Over the course of four months and four dental visits, what should have been a simple procedure turned into a disaster. The dentist canceled two of my appointments, and what was meant to be two procedures turned into four. They even charged my insurance before completing the work. On my first appointment, the dentist was on a yoga ball and wearing earbuds, which likely contributed to the initial problems. Throughout the process, the dentist repeatedly had to re-prep and re-drill the crown because it didn’t fit properly, and now it may need to be redone by another dentist. When I expressed my frustration about the temporary crown falling off, instead of listening, I was dismissed and accused of lying. They also falsely claimed that I only had two appointments, even though I had four. On my final visit, I overheard the dentist telling his hygienist that appointments needed to be canceled because he was running behind, which shows that last-minute cancellations are common practice here. Overall, the experience was unprofessional, inefficient, and disappointing, and I will not be returning.

I am so upset that this didn’t work out! I went in for my initial cleaning and it was wonderful. I was so excited to finally get my smile fixed. They scheduled me months out for a “deep” cleaning 🤔, filling, and an extraction before I could get my partials. They cancelled my cleaning the morning of the appointment THRU TXT! They cancelled my filling the morning of the appointment THRU TXT! I decide to look at the reviews before going for the extraction and boy am I glad I did! No way in he!! will I let these butchers EVER touch me again! What a scam they are running here!!! How is this even legal at this point!?! Now I have to call my insurance to make sure they didn’t charge me for things THEY DIDNT DO!

Long story short, if you’re considering this practice, look elsewhere. My daughter was sent out of the office with a crown that had a hole in it. She couldn’t close her mouth all the way. She’s had headaches for the last 13 days. He asked her if she could just try to make it. All of the other 1 star reviews I read are spot on. Pre-billing insurance which makes it impossible for you to go to anyone else to get his mistakes corrected; canceling appointments the day before or the day of; wearing his ear buds while bouncing around on a yoga ball.

I wanted to be happy with this office, but the cancelation of appointments days in advance, the pushing off of patients to the tazewell office, and the poor communication between front and back of the house staff. I text in emergency to have a tooth pulled. I get in for my appointment, and they start trying to map my mouth for a temp crown that was supposed to be fixed MONTHS ago... I said excuse me I was supposed to have a tooth pulled... the lady pulled up the appointment and everything that was supposed to be done at my next appointment was moved to this day. I show my messages, they go to the front and come up with a plan. I wait and wait (all while im supposed to be at work...) the dentist finally comes in... and REFUSED TO PULL THE TOOTH. I left there in unimaginable pain and went over to Simple Dental and was in and out in 30 minutes and they pulled the tooth just fine.
