"My daughter was experiencing a lot of pain due to the emergence of her wisdom teeth. We were extremely pleased with the care provided by Dr. Robertson and his team. They were able to schedule an appointment for her promptly and she had her wisdom teeth removed a few days later. The aftercare instructions were explained clearly and the nurses were very helpful in making her comfortable. Overall, everything went smoothly and we were very satisfied with the service." 10 out of 10 recommend!

Dr. Robertson is very unprofessional. I was quoted $378 to have my son’s wisdom teeth extracted. The day of surgery the receptionist came out demanding I pay an extra $278. When I called the doctor about my son having possible dry socket he laughed and was very condescending. He then told me to have my son call him. He was belittling and acted like he did not care seeing how he already got paid.

I had a wisdom tooth removed by Dr. Robertson and my experience was absolutely amazing! Not only were the shots to numb the area, painless the actual extraction was also pain free. The staff is also amazing and they make you feel comfortable during your visit. I know where my family and I will be going if we ever need any other services! I highly recommend this place!

Very unprofessional. I was supposed to have an appointment with the doctor in may to get my wisdom teeth removed but he canceled on me. So I tried again this month and the day before my appointment I get a call saying they pushed my appointment an hour later, I had this appointment scheduled based off my busy schedule. I will be going to someone different .

This wasn’t for me but for my boyfriend. He sent me several text messages about how rude the staff were to him during his surgery and called out a Hispanic woman specifically. Very disrespectful and unprofessional. You guys need to do better with your staff. If you don’t like this job, you should leave.

About Derby Oral Surgery

Derby Oral Surgery is the Derby, Kansas office of Wichita Oral Surgery, an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice with three locations in the Wichita area, including offices on East 21st Street North and West Maple Street in Wichita. The Derby office at 201 North Georgie Avenue serves patients from Derby and the surrounding communities, and the practice as a whole lists Wichita, Andover, Maize, Park City, Andale, Newton, Augusta, Valley Center, and Bel Aire among the areas it serves. Dental implants are a core part of the practice, with services covering single tooth replacement, implant placement, solutions for patients missing all of their upper or lower teeth, implant supported overdentures, and bone grafting when the jaw needs rebuilding before implants can be placed.

Beyond implants, the practice offers wisdom teeth removal, tooth extractions, bone grafting procedures such as sinus lifts, ridge augmentation and socket preservation, pre-prosthetic surgery, exposure of impacted teeth, and 3D imaging, with anesthesia options discussed on its website. The practice describes a focus on patient comfort, clean and thoroughly sterilized facilities, and honest, up-front cost information, and it states that it is in-network with a variety of insurance plans and offers financing options. It also notes extended office hours on select days, appointment reminders, and quick turnaround on calls and appointment requests, and it works closely with referring dentists in the community.
