I had an amazing experience at Divine Expressions Family Dentistry and I truly can’t say enough good things about the entire team.
From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by the receptionist with a warm and professional attitude. She was patient, helpful, and made the check-in process smooth and stress-free, which really set the tone for the visit.
The dental hygienist was just as impressive—very gentle, thorough, and attentive. They made sure I was comfortable the entire time and explained everything they were doing, which helped ease any anxiety I had. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients.
The doctors were outstanding. They took their time to explain my situation clearly, answered all of my questions, and made sure I understood my options. I never felt rushed or overlooked. Their professionalism, knowledge, and bedside manner really stood out.
Overall, the entire staff worked together seamlessly and created a positive, welcoming environment. Everyone was respectful, kind, and focused on providing great care. It’s not easy to find a dental office where every single person you interact with is excellent, but Divine Expressions Family Dentistry definitely delivered that experience.
I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality dental care and a team that truly puts patients first.

If I could give this practice negative stars, I would. I ordered my Invisalign treatment through them in August. I paid in full and my insurance was charged immediately. They told me a month. I followed up every month through December asking about what the delay was, where they told me that Invisalign just hadn’t made the trays yet. I explicitly asked if they needed anything from me. They said no. In December for my cleaning, they realized they missed taking images needed. They told me to come back later that month. I called that day because I was not sure my trays would be in. They said they were. At my 3:00 appointment I was not only seen a half hour late but they didn’t have my trays! There has been no reimbursement or attempt to make it right. The practice is sloppy, and care for customer is zero if not negative. Again I paid in full and my insurance was fully charged. At this point, going to another practice would be a pain since I would have to reverse my insurance and I already selected a different dental plan. This is not cheap, and it’s been a half year delay. Horrible practice, do not recommend or support. I will be leaving immediately and I advise anyone else to stay far away. I am incredibly disappointed and angry. If they do attempt to make this right in any way (they expedited the delivery, but that’s laughable as an acceptable solution given it’s been a half year), I will update this review. I hope people can at least benefit from my horrible experience by staying away.

The staff are always friendly. The facility is very clean and a loving atmosphere! Dr. Barnett is the best at what he does! I had a horrible experience in the past with another dentistry and was very scared to go any dentist after that. But Dr. Barnett and staff made me feel very comfortable and worry free. I will continue to use them and would recommend them to anyone!! Hands down best experience ever!!

Very informative experience from start to finish. The entire team was professional, intentional, and genuinely encouraging. They took the time to educate me throughout every step, explaining each procedure, exam, and X-ray in a way that was easy to understand.
I really appreciated how thorough they were when checking my teeth it made me feel confident in the care I was receiving. Because of that level of detail and communication, I felt comfortable and relaxed the whole time.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place that truly cares and takes their time with you.

i am overall ANNOYED with this dentist. i had a great experience my first two appointments and it was quick and easy and i had been meaning to give a good review but am glad i didn’t yet. the office been very difficult to deal with. my cleaning took hours just to do. then i had to get crowns placed and i paid and all. but they didn’t even have them ready when i came back for them during my second appointment for cavities. i rescheduled my appointment for the crown placements and they canceled it and didn’t even tell me. i would have showed up not knowing my appointment was canceled. i was supposed to have my permanent crowns placed 2 weeks ago. i honestly want and probably am going to switch dentist after getting my crowns. this is sooooo irritating and a waste of my time. i just hope they don’t botch my crown placements since i am writing this bad review and plan on not coming back after my crowns. i am genuinely pissed off. i’ll post an update after my crown placements.
****UPDATE!! i genuinely think it’s just the front desk people.. the actual dentist does a decent job. but i definitely think the office folks booking appointments are the ones that made my experience not good. it just seems all over the place. the lady i did speak to after all this, seemed nice and apologetic. at the end of the day, it’s the office people making appointments and even the dental assistants that are not organized. for example, the dentist told the assistant that i need antibiotics and i had to remind her about them (she actually didn’t even remember him saying that) cause she was finna send me home without what the dentist said i needed. also another thing to mention is the dentist and the assistant didn’t even tell me how many cavities or anything wrong with my teeth when i came for a cleaning… i literally had to ask what was going on on my way out the door. and i had a lot of issues which were just like “you have several cavities” .. no other information… so i didn’t really like that either. but it is what it is. i added a star to the review…

About Divine Expressions Family Dentistry
Divine Expressions Family Dentistry in Madison, AL offers dental implant solutions, including single tooth implants and full-arch treatment such as All-on-4. Dental implants are placed as titanium posts that act as replacement roots, providing a stable foundation for a crown, bridge, or full arch of prosthetic teeth. Whether you are missing one tooth or most of your teeth in an arch, the practice works with you to find the option that fits your needs.
For a single missing tooth, the practice places an implant that heals for a few months before a custom crown is attached, preserving the surrounding healthy teeth. For patients missing most or all of their teeth in an arch, full-arch implants use a small number of implants to support a complete set of prosthetic teeth, aiming to restore chewing, speaking, and confidence in your smile. The practice provides a broad range of dental services alongside implants, including preventative care, cosmetic dentistry, and sleep apnea treatment, so much of your care can be handled in one place.
