Born in Venezuela, she graduated Cum Laude from Universidad de Los Andes, then continued her career at Community Health Centers in Boston and served as a faculty member at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She went on to complete a prosthodontic specialty program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham before joining the San Antonio team.
