Nikita is the most welcoming person; she greets everyone with warmth and I always look forward to seeing her before my appointments. Rebecca is a fantastic hygienist. She did a thorough yet gentle cleaning today and she gave great advice to help me improve my flossing technique at home. Rebecca is a wonderful listener and has a lovely disposition too. I love Downtown Dental and I speak highly of your practice when with friends and acquaintances. Thank you for ten amazing years of service to Dr. Kenna, Nikita, and the team!

Staff was very helpful in getting my insurance coverage resolved and my appointment scheduled. Upon arrival I was greeted, allowed in early, and treated with great respect. Doctor Kenna and his hygienist were thorough and explained my needs and options in great detail. I was very impressed and comfortable!

First time visit and I think I found my dental home. Staff was so nice! Sara was so sweet and friendly and cleaned my teeth and I saw Dr. Kenna as my doctor. He was very friendly as well and easy to ask questions to about the health of my teeth. Our family just relocated from IL and we all are very grateful to have found this office.

The staff is amazing, very professional, on time, and everyone is so friendly. Dr Martin took time with me and explained all my X-rays and issues with my teeth. I would recommend Downtown Dental to anyone who is looking for a dentist. They are excellent!!!!

Always a positive experience at Downtown Dental. Appointments are punctual and efficient. From the time you enter until you leave, every staff person is friendly and competent. They help ensure that you are comfortable and that any questions or concerns are addressed. I would highly recommend Dr. Kenna and the Downtown Dental team, especially for those who may be reluctant to see a dentist.

About Downtown Dental
Downtown Dental is a full-service general dental practice located at 794 East Washington Street in downtown Greenville, South Carolina. For patients considering dental implants, the practice handles both the surgical placement of implants and the restoration, meaning the crown or replacement tooth, in the same office. The team also offers bone grafting following extractions, which can help prepare the jaw for a future implant, along with tooth removal, root canal therapy, and oral surgery. Patients who feel anxious about treatment can ask about nitrous oxide gas or intravenous sedation, in which calming medicine is given through a vein so you can relax during longer procedures.
Beyond implant care, Downtown Dental provides comprehensive examinations, oral cancer screenings, digital X-rays, cleanings for children and adults, gum disease treatment, tooth colored fillings, veneers, crowns and bridges, teeth whitening, and night guards for grinding and jaw joint problems. Meet the Doctors
Downtown Dental lists two dentists on its website. Dr. Trey Kenna, Doctor of Dental Medicine, graduated with honors from Furman University in Greenville with a degree in Biology, then earned his dental degree at the Medical College of Georgia, where he also completed a General Practice Residency with additional training in dental implant placement, restorative dentistry, and intravenous sedation. He is a member of the South Carolina Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry, and in 2010 he received a Fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Martin, Doctor of Dental Medicine, is a Greenville native who earned a Bachelor of Science in public health from Clemson University and his dental degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 2013. He is a member of the South Carolina Dental Association and the American Dental Association, and he enjoys helping patients with everything from prevention to full mouth reconstruction.
