Love this office and its staff. I am welcomed from the moment I come in the office by Melina and Kriselle. Jen the office manager is very thorough and takes time to walk me through my treatment. Senia, Susie, Karla, and Jazmin are the best assistants and are so gentle and kind. I’ve had cleanings from both Jorge and Allison and leave feeling fresh and clean after every visit. Dr Hanel and Dr. Mungcal are amazing , reliable and very knowledgeable. If you’re looking for a clean, technologically advanced, and efficient office you have found it here at Downtown Dental!!🦷

I had a wonderful experience at Downtown Dental. Everyone on the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and caring from the moment I walked in. The office was spotless, modern, and equipped with the latest dental technology, which made me feel very comfortable.
A special thank you to Jen, the office manager. She went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and made me feel truly valued as a patient. Her kindness, professionalism, and positive attitude really stood out.
I highly recommend Downtown Dental to anyone looking for a clean, modern dental office with an amazing team that genuinely cares about their patients!

I had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The office is clean, welcoming, and everyone was genuinely kind and professional. Jennifer was especially wonderful. She made me feel comfortable, answered all of my questions, and went out of her way to make sure everything went smoothly. The entire team was efficient, thorough, and never made me feel rushed. It’s rare to find a dental office that combines such great care with such a friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend! 🦷✨

I came to Downtown Dental for my dental health, and my experience was awesome. The facility was clean and professional, I got my scans, X-rays and cleaning done. Overall I greatly enjoyed my visit. I will say I was very nervous to get seen after years of not getting checked, but the staff was so welcoming and professional and made me feel at ease. One of the top 3 things I look for when visiting a new place for any kind of service is the welcoming environment, the cleanliness and the expertise of who is doing the care. Downtown Dental delivered, they answered all my questions and I feel a lot better going forward with my care. Definitely recommend this office!

Let’s be honest, who likes going to the dentist? Not many of us right? It can scary and intimidating. However, my experience at this dental office was unlike any other. As soon I got there they made me feel comfortable right away. The staff was super welcoming and specifically Jennifer. She just made me feel at home and and made me feel like I was in good hands.
I truly appreciate their professionalism, attention to detail, and friendly atmosphere. If you're looking for a dentist who is knowledgeable, compassionate, and professional, I highly recommend this office.

Meet the Doctors
Dr. Adonis "Don" Mungcal, DDS, is the lead dentist at Downtown Dental. He is a Los Angeles native who completed his undergraduate studies at UCLA and earned his dental degree with honors from the University of the Pacific Dental School in 1990. He has practiced in downtown Los Angeles for over three decades and leads a team of dentists and hygienists who provide general, cosmetic, restorative, and implant dentistry, including All on 4 and full arch treatment.
