I had such a positive experience my first time at Downtown Dental last week. Dr. Hall took her time and listened to my concerns. She created a treatment plan that made sense for both my oral health and my finances. She prioritized what needed to be done, and took care of it on the spot!
Daphne was great too! She knew her stuff and was very professional. They were both super attentive and made sure I was comfortable (with a nice weighted blanket too!).
I must highlight a most amazing administrative staff member…Michaela. She went above and beyond to answer my questions and offer assistance. She helped me navigate the insurance shopping process by offering unbiased, but sound advice…and this was well before I ever became a patient! She was thorough, patient and compassionate….everyone I have encountered there so far is the same way.
I highly recommend you trust the kind, patient-focused staff at Downtown Dental Group with your dental care needs.

Absolutely wonderful staff and environment! Ruth the receptionist is great and works hard to get you into appointments, every hygienist has been personable and easy to talk to while they explained what was happening. Dr Reckmeyer is just super great, he has a calm demeanor and explains things the entire time he is doing them in a way that makes them seem simple and not scary. They also make paying super easy and take care of all the insurance stuff. After a tooth removal, a crown and a root canal I have no stress about needing anything else done because I know that besides a little soreness after it will be pretty easy overall. Highly recommend!

Had a great experience at Downtown Dental! My 12 year gets nervous before dental appointments and both her dental hygienist (Kristen) and Dr. Reckmeyer took time to explain things and ensure she was comfortable!

I am terrified of the dentist after a few bad experiences in my life with other dentists…. The staff here have given me the best experience I have ever had and eased my fears. They communicated with me about everything they were doing, and did everything to make me more comfortable and at ease with my fillings! Thank you so much for making it an easy decision to come back!

I want to just show out DDG. Thank you Dr. Reckmeyer and Dr. Hall. I had a dental emergency right before Easter weekend. I called during the off hours and Dr. Hall called me back within like 10 minutes to put my mind at ease. I called first thing in the morning and was able to be seen and have my crown fixed. I have TERRIBLE dental anxiety and have always felt judged for dental issues that arose until I came here. I would say 10/10 recommend, but they deserve more. Everything from numbing to the final crown placement was such an amazing process. Shout out to dental assistant Daphney and also Kristen the hygentist... AMAZING service. Thank you all so much. I am much more confident now.

Meet the Doctors
The dentists at Downtown Dental Group are Dr. Juliana Hall and Dr. Benjamin Reckmeyer, who lead the practice's dental implant services. Dr. Hall joined the practice in 2021. Originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, she earned her bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Dallas and her dental degree from the Creighton School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska, and she practiced in Salina, Kansas, and Woodbine, Iowa, before returning to Manhattan. Dr. Reckmeyer joined the practice in 2024. A native of Bellevue, Nebraska, he earned his bachelor's degree from Creighton University, graduated with distinction from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry, and completed a general practice residency in Asheville, North Carolina. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
