Yesterday, I got all four of my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Stoll and his team. While the procedure went well and they let me keep my teeth, I am truly saddened with the treatment I received. Before they switched me into the room for the extractions, I found Dr. Stoll to be apathetic after I showed signs of anxiety and telling them I was nervous. Nothing out of the ordinary or extreme, I was simply heavy breathing and crying while still remaining respectful and willing. Once we switched to the procedure room, they moved fast and almost trying to dismiss the questions I had. The anesthesiologist told me she was fixing my blanket I had brought but she put me in leg restraints without my knowledge of knowing if that’s procedure or not as I got laid down. I cried a little harder than before due to feeling dismissed and the anesthesiologist held the laughing gas on my face as well as my head back by holding my forehead while I am visibly vulnerable. I was not pulling the mask off of my face or flailing my legs, head or arms around, I simply was upset and notified them that the laughing gas was making me dizzy, nauseous and not relaxing like promised. I asked for a one deep breath on my own with the mask on, she was reluctant but I got to take my one deep breath on my own without the mask and she went back to pressing it uncomfortably on my face. I had my hand on my face for comfort and to wipe my tears knowing the IV was coming. I can do needles, but they do give me anxiety. Dr. Stoll entered the room with a loud “Alright!” And grabbed me quickly and forcibly by the wrist. I asked him to please not do that and I do not recall him removing his hand from his wrist because they told me I was being combative. I told the team I was not and I was simply upset. I am 17, 4’11 and 90 pounds for reference. I did not and do not feel as if that was necessary. I got the IV and soon fell asleep, the surgery was quick and they prescribed me with the adequate medication and provided me with gauze, mouth rinse and a syringe for rinsing. I do not remember waking up but I will never forget the treatment I do not believe I deserved. I understand oral surgeons and their teams deal with anxious patients regularly and I respect maintaining safety during procedure, but I never wish the experience I had on anyone unless they were truly being violent which I know I was not. I don’t know if they had a difficult patient before me that effected their bedside manner towards me but I do consider myself emotionally and physically sensitive. Overall, I did not appreciate the experience. I do not feel I was treated with compassion, patience, or basic dignity while visibly scared and vulnerable. I will remember this upsetting experience for far longer than the surgery itself. I hope this review encourages more empathy and direct communication toward future patients, especially younger patients experiencing fear and anxiety before a procedure.

What an absolutely outstanding experience. Dr Stoll removed 8 uppers this afternoon, and installed my new temporary dentures. Talk about a five-star dentist. If you need to get a bunch of teeth pulled this is where you're going to want to go. Pain-free until the novocaine wore off. And then I was prescribed just enough narcotics, to handle the issue. Just so there are no surprises for you folks, I have five star insurance, and it still cost $1,500 out of pocket. Be prepared. These guys (and gals) are awesome and worth every penny

I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed around this time last year at this office. The surgery itself went very well, and my healing process went good too. The doctor and nurses were amazing and kind, and I was prescribed the proper pain medicine for after the removal. The biggest issue I had was insurance and the receptionist at the front desk. The day of the insurance, I was quoted that I had to pay about $1,150 out of pocket, which I did. I was told that insurance would cover all of or most of the rest. Well four months later I get a bill for the full amount, that insurance didn't cover because "It is not included in your plan." I went to the dental office asking if they could look into it and was told that they only have what insurance said on the paper, and that they can't do payment plans. However, when I called insurance a day or two later, they told me that they were never even sent the bill. So I had to call the dental office back and tell them what insurance said, and it turns out that the bill was never sent. Whatever, I wait to see what happens and get a bill for $600ish dollars instead of the remaining $1,250 or so that it was. Turns out they are out of network with all insurance companies, which isn't a big deal. After I get the $600ish bill, I go into the dental office to see when the bill is due, since I was only 19 and didn't exactly have a huge savings account. When I asked when the bill was due the receptionist told me something along the lines of, "Well your procedure was back in October/November, so it was due then." Never mind the fact that I paid what I was told I owed back then, and the only reason why they hadn't gotten the rest was because they forgot to send the bill to insurance! Only after my dad told me to not worry about the bill until I could pay it, did she suddenly say that I could pay in two $300 increments over the next month and a half. Again the doctors and his nurses were amazing and my surgery went very well, and so did the healing. My biggest issue was just how rude the comment by the front desk woman was, stating that the bill was due in October/November, even after she knew that the mistake wasn't on my end. It just felt like an unnecessary comment, especially with how the situation came to be about. I waited a year to see if maybe it felt like a weird comment at the time because of my frustration, but even now thinking back on it, it definitely was not a professional response to me asking when the new balance was due by.

I was terrified of being put under general anesthesia and the staff and doctor made me at ease they were fast and professional and listened to all of my concerns. I ended up getting dry sockets and they got me back in in absolutely no time and packed them and Gave me a numbing gel for at home use. I am astounded by the professionalism in this office. Worth every dollar. I had full partial bony impacted wisdom teeth and they understood the pain and concerns after my post op and corrected it very quickly. Go here if you want a great experience!!! They want you to be comfortable.

My family and I have undergone several extractions performed by Dr. Stoll and his staff without any issues in the past. However, when I recently called to discuss a concern, the receptionist was rude and treated me as if I were ignorant or lying. In my 49 years, I have never been spoken to like this by a professional establishment. She even advised me to contact another dental facility. Following her advice, I did consult another dentist and confirmed that I indeed require medical treatment from a Doctor because of my last procedure from this facility.
