He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, graduating in the top 10% of his class, and was accepted into a six year residency program at the University of Florida at Jacksonville. During that time he earned his Medical Degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine and completed a one year General Surgery Internship. He went on to complete additional fellowship training in pediatric cleft lip and palate and craniofacial surgery, and he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
