I highly recommend Dr Chang’s dental in Barstow. It’s very clean and inviting. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They offer a “comfort menu “ for those who have anxiety or have trouble sitting/laying back in the dental chair. (For example, a pillow for behind your knees Or for your neck). They have top-of-the-line technology and are very good at explaining it as they go along. Toni, the hygienist, did a very thorough job for my cleaning and explained everything as she went along. I actually look forward to visiting again. Thank you, Dr Chang and your staff for going over and above to make me feel welcome and comfortable Shelly Hensley

Exceptional hospitality!! Very impressed from the minute i was called in. Joshua was very professional, he graciously gave me a tour of the office, welcomed me with a new patient tote bag and gifts, and provided me with a "Comfort Menu"- a menu with an array of options to enhance your visit- from blankets, to soothing teas , to aroma therapy, earplugs, to TV choice, and many more options. Makes you wonder if you’re at a restaurant or spa lol. After that Kady walked in and also made sure I was as comfortable as possible, she took x rays and was gentle and professional. Her warm and friendly demeanor made me feel right at home, as though I was talking to an old friend. When Dr. Chang walked in, Joshua provided him with a detailed introduction, allowing Dr Chang to get to know me, my comfort level, and my likes and dislikes. I’ve never experienced any of this at any office before. Dr. Chang expressed genuine pleasure in getting to know his patients and explained everything in detail, answered all my questions, didn’t feel like he was rushing to get to some one else, took his time to thoroughly look at my teeth, and even took the time to get a quick filling done right then and there. Then I spoke to Eryn who went over prices, payment options, and appointment dates with me. She allowed me to take my time and process the information without any pressure to decide quickly. I was very impressed! I never leave reviews so me leaving one says a lot lol I’ve lived in many different states and have seen different dentists all over and by far this was the dentist office that showed the most hospitality and strived to make my visit the most pleasant and comfortable as possible.

Joshua, Kady, Dr. Chang, and Daniela provided excellent service! I’ve been to other dental offices in Barstow, and this one is by far the best. They offer a welcome tour before starting the exam and truly take the time to get to know you and listen to your concerns about why you’re there. On top of that, they even have a comfort menu, which really sets them apart. Dr. Chang is also very funny and explains everything in a way that’s easy to understand—no big or confusing words. Overall, an amazing experience!

I had a great experience at this office. Kady is an amazing dental assistant — so kind, welcoming, and attentive. She really helped put me at ease and made the whole visit feel comfortable. Dr. Chang is incredibly patient and takes the time to thoroughly explain procedures and aftercare in a way that’s easy to understand. You never feel rushed, and his kindness truly stands out. Highly recommend this team! 👌

Dr chang’s dental is one of the best dentist in the desert. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable if you don’t know something they will take the time and explain to you. I drive from Victorville to Barstow because I don’t trust too many people to work on my teeth. Very clean and friendly strongly recommend.
