Dr. Bloss and her staff were super accommodating to me! I came in as a new patient in pain and they fit me in as soon as possible and Dr. Bloss took the time to evaluate and explain to me what was going on and all my options. The visit was pleasant and unrussed. She seemed very focused on my problem and not her own with her freshly broken knee cap! Bless her and her staff!!!❤️

Dr Bloss and her team truly care about their patients and not just their dental needs. They listen and the holistic approach was not something I was looking for when we moved here. My family has been in their care for over 25 years, and now I understand why Dr Bloss takes this approach. She wants to keep her staff and patients safe and does not compromise that. I highly recommend them!

This was my first visit with Dr. Bloss and her tech, Kendall. I am 61 years old, and in my many years of dentist visits, this was hands down the Best! Dr. Bloss was thorough, patient, kind, knowledgeable and informative. I was there for two hours, getting a multitude of images taken, X-rays and a lengthy exam. The office was clean and comfortable. I am so happy I found her!

I had to travel about three hours for my appointment and her office did everything they could to help out!! Dr Bloss is very gentle and she did a great job with four Amalgam replacement in 3.5 hours. I highly recommend her and her staff( which was thoughtful and caring and talented)!

Bloss Dental Care is the Montrose, Colorado practice of Dr. Christine S. Bloss, DDS, located at 646 South 1st Street. The office describes itself as a holistic and biologic dental practice with a natural, gentle approach, and it has been mercury-free since the mid-1990s. Services include general and preventive dentistry, safe mercury amalgam removal, periodontal (gum) therapy, fillings and crowns, dentures and implants, cosmetic dentistry, and Invisalign. The practice favors a minimally invasive philosophy, using the most conservative and effective procedures when treatment is necessary, and offers serum (blood) biocompatibility testing to help ensure the materials used in a patient's care are ones they will not react to.
For patients missing teeth, the practice explains that implants are the closest thing to natural teeth in look and function, and that the implant itself may be made of titanium or ceramic (zirconia). Dr. Bloss works with an oral surgeon who places the implant in the jaw. After the implant heals and integrates with the bone over a few months, she places a porcelain crown on top. Implants can also be used to secure partial or full dentures, and the site notes that Dr. Bloss fabricates dentures that are screwed down to implants, so they do not need to be removed daily. The office also provides removable partials and full dentures for patients who prefer a non-surgical option, and it is open Monday through Thursday from 8am to 5pm.
Dr. Christine S. Bloss, DDS, leads the practice. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Nebraska in 1991 and completed a general practice residency at the VA Medical Center in Lincoln. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a Master's degree in Education from the University of Illinois. Dr. Bloss is an accredited member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology and is SMART-certified in the safe removal of mercury amalgam fillings. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, and the Western Colorado Dental Society. She is supported by dental hygienist Jill Holyfield and dental assistant Kendell Granger.
