He earned his bachelor's degree in business finance from Brigham Young University and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Louisville in Kentucky, graduating in 2011. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a member of the American Dental Association, the New Mexico Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
