If you’re scared of getting a cavity filled this review is for you! I have been a patient of Dr. Perrott for nearly 20 years and wanted to share my first real cavity experience to help others.. First of all, the hygienist I usually have clean my teeth is Nadine and she is amazing! She knows how anxious I am and is so nice and calm that her personality helps me relax. Other hygienists have been very similar and nice as well. I was terrified of getting a cavity filled…and recently was told I had one between my teeth. Dr. Perrot told me not to worry and he will take care of me. He also knew this was my main fear. The day before, I requested something to help me relax and be less anxious that morning. I entered the room in tears but immediately his assistant was very nice and made me feel more at ease. Then he numbed my gums with a gel very well so that I did not feel the needle they use to completely numb the area. It truly worked! Next, he started drilling, working on my cavity and I was in NO pain. I only felt vibrations from the drill and obviously could hear it too. I used earbuds also to listen to music. At one point I thought some pain was starting to be felt and he stopped and gave me more numbing. At no point in this entire process was I in pain. Later on, after that area wasn’t numb anymore, I had a little bit of sore gums but nothing that was bad at all. I highly recommend Dr. Perrott and his assistant for getting a cavity filled! He did take care of me just like he said he would. It all went just like I was hoping 😄

First visit today with Dr Hiner. I couldn't be more impressed. He was knowledgeable and also friendly and kind. I'm happy I found my new dentist!

We’re running a bit late for the appointment, I called and made sure it would be okay to still come in. She said they would make it work so we made our way there. When we showed up we were turned away. Almost every time I’ve been to the office I’ve waiting over 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. They seem to value quantity over quality. Good luck trying to reschedule… always over booked and under staffed! Will be looking for a new dentist. Also, the lady at the front desk was rude and made it clear that we were an inconvenience, even though we called ahead and checked if we could still come in.

I don't create many reviews, but I am making an exception for this dental office. My suggestion is not to bother calling this office. I wanted to be a new patient and Dr. Perrott is not accepting new patients, but Dr. Hiner is. The receptionist asked for my insurance information and I told her. She sighed and said, you need to make sure Dr. Hiner is in the network, because it doesn't mean one accepts if the other does. OK, you should probably ask for more info from me, but that's ok. The reviews said this office made them feel comfortable, which is important to me, so I double checked and Dr. Hiner was in network with my insurance. I called back to schedule and I heard the sigh again. *sigh* "ok, what's your name?" in a tone that was clearly not interested in working with another patient. I don't need to be treated like that before even setting an appointment. Just be warned that the negative reviews are very real unfortunately. What a shame.

My entire family was with this office since 1989 and never had any issues. I had to pull my family of 5 in January of 2024. I like him and Dr. Hiner as dentists, hygienists are good, however, his office staff (which turns over very regularly), not so much. They treated my 2 daughters (Ohio State Nursing student & Penn State Biomedical Engineering student) like total crap on an issue that they never should have dealt with, with my girls. The office girls talked down to them and made them feel like they were stupid and clearly, they are not. They made my one daughter a nervous wreck as they took turns speaking with her. And, I need to add, that this issue was approved previously as a billable procedure by doctor P. I immediately emailed Dr. Perrot on the incident and he never responded. I am hoping that the office staff intercepted the email and Doc never saw it, since I never received a response. If he did see it and never responded that disappoints me even more. I asked for all 5 record releases on the same day the incident happened and never looked back. I guess losing 5 patients, one of which was a pario patient, isn't that big of a deal to this practice. Upon visiting our new dentist, many dental issues that were not addressed with this office, were found with our new office and are now being addressed. Once you seek another practice, you will find this one is not so great and not thought highly of in the dental community...I wish we would have left long ago. I did wait a long time to write this review because I wasn't going to...but as my appointments pile up with my family, taking care of missed issues, I feel others need to know.
