Dr. Boyden is extremely professional.
I had my first wisdom teeth extraction in the UK a few years ago, and it was a very rough experience with a bad oral surgery. Because of that, I was very nervous when I decided to have three wisdom teeth extracted here.
Dr. Boyden understood my anxiety and was very gentle from the beginning. He explained every step before performing the procedure. After the injection of anesthesia, he told me that this would be the worst part. In fact, I felt very little pain during the surgery.
After the procedure, the dental staff carefully explained all the post-surgery instructions. Today marks one week after the surgery, and I am feeling great.
I truly appreciate Dr. Boyden and all the dental staff.

My tooth extraction was one of the best dental experiences of my life. After a LOT of oral pain and very unpleasant experiences with other dentists, I was pleasantly surprised by Dr. Boyden and his staff. They are caring, knowledgeable, and excellent at taking care of their patients. I definitely recommend Dr. Boyden and his staff.

I went to Dr. Boyden for a dental implant, and the experience exceeded every expectation. He walked me through each step, made sure I felt comfortable, and answered all my questions with patience and clarity. The implant procedure itself was quick and handled with absolute precision. My healing has gone beautifully, thanks to his thorough instructions and follow-up care. If you need an implant or any oral surgery, I would recommend Dr. Boyden without hesitation.

Dr. Boyden is truly amazing! He’s incredibly caring, very kind, and has such a great sense of humor that instantly puts all your nerves at ease. He listens closely to every concern and takes the time to explain everything thoroughly, so you always know exactly what’s going on and what to do next. His office is spotless, and his staff is always warm, helpful, and welcoming. I always leave my appointments feeling confident, satisfied, and fully taken care of :) He is the best and I highly recommend seeing him!

Dr. Scott M. Boyden, DDS, MD is a native of Reno, Nevada. He earned his DDS from the University of Colorado in 1995, his MD from the University of Illinois in 1998, and completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Rochester in New York in 2001. He opened his solo private practice in the Caughlin Ranch area of Reno in the summer of 2001 and is on staff at Renown Regional Medical Center.
