The is the best dentist office in have been to in years. I left my previous Lufkin desbride because they could not manage their practice. After a cleaning, you could wait an hour to see the dentist. I got tired of it.
My first visit at Dr. McKewen’s office was low stress, and managed well.My hygienist did a thorough job, and I’m happy to say this is now my dentist.

Dr. McKewen has been our family dentist for over 30 years, and is simply the best in every way. I trust his diagnoses to be accurate and he and his office have provided service for our family thru cleaning, cavities and crowns. His rates are competitive and he is the gold standard for dental procedures and advice.

About Dr. Taylor W. Mckewen, DDS
Taylor W. McKewen, D.D.S. is a general dental practice located at 405 West Frank Avenue in Lufkin, Texas. The practice sees patients by appointment only and describes an approach built around thorough examinations, necessary x-rays, and a treatment plan developed for each patient before any work begins.
Before treatment starts, the office reviews the advantages and disadvantages of treatment, the risks of treatment or no treatment, and the options and cost involved, so patients can ask questions and understand their choices. The practice schedules longer appointments to complete as much dental treatment as possible in one visit, aiming to respect patients' time and reduce disruption to their schedules. Patients considering treatment can expect a similar process of examination, discussion, and planning before moving forward.
