Northwest Oral & Implant Surgery, led by Dr. Timothy B. Welch, MD, DDS, serves patients throughout Eugene, Oregon and nearby communities including Springfield, Coburg, Veneta, and Corvallis. The practice specializes in dental implants, including All-on-4 style full arch treatment, along with wisdom tooth removal, extractions, bone grafting, and jaw surgery. Dr. Welch is trained as both a medical doctor with a general surgery internship and as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, a combination that allows him to address both the functional and cosmetic sides of implant and reconstructive care.

Meet the Doctors

Northwest Oral & Implant Surgery in Eugene, Oregon is home to two oral and maxillofacial surgeons, Dr. Timothy B. Welch, MD, DDS and Dr. Kevin Sweeney, MD, DDS. Dr. Welch is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon trained as both a physician, with an internship in general surgery, and a dental surgeon. He has authored and co-authored more than 30 scientific presentations and has served as an assistant professor at Loma Linda University Medical Center and Oregon Health Sciences University. Dr. Sweeney earned his dental degree at the University of Washington School of Dentistry, then completed his medical degree and his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Pennsylvania, a six year program that included two years of general surgery training. He is skilled in dental implants, bone grafting, full arch restorations, digital treatment planning, wisdom teeth removal, and comfortable sedation. Together, the two doctors focus on providing safe, effective, and comfortable surgical care for their patients.
