If you are looking for an AMAZING Oral Surgeon, I highly recommend Dr Gronbach and East Bay Oral Surgery! I was looking for an Oral Surgeon and came across Dr Gronbach on United Healthcare’s site. I made an appointment for a consultation and immediately felt confident that I had found the right place. The staff were attentive, kind, and patient. I was scheduled for my extraction the next week and was absolutely thrilled with the extraction, the aftercare package/directions, the follow up, and the result! I have not had to use any pain medication, I don’t have a dry socket, and the extraction site is healing beautifully. Thank you, East Bay Oral Surgery, it means so much to be treated in such a caring, supportive, and professional manner.

Dr. Gronbach is a pro and his assistants are kind and mindful. i’ve had two significant (anesthesia involved) procedures at this practice, no complications, no massive hassles; the dr follows up personally and is wonderfully communicative and non-patronizing. Front desk can be a bit of a mixed bag for a patient with ptsd from medical mishandling (i’ve had both pleasant and spiky/impatient interactions, not everyone is tolerant of hypervigilant patients even if you warn them that you cant totally control it. and i get that). It’s a chill, focused, get it done and move on kind of environment, which is perfect. :-)

This place rocks! Dr. Gronbach, the dental assistants, and staff here are incredible. They are kind, gentle, efficient, and skilled. I had two wisdom teeth removed in 20 minutes without general anesthesia, only local, and I didn't feel a thing! I was astounded by how quick and easy it was. The recovery has been easy going as well, with very minimal pain and discomfort. Highly recommend this practice to anyone who needs oral surgery!

My daughter had to have her premolars removed before we continued her orthodontic treatment. Dr. Gronbach and his assistants were so great. They answered all our questions and were upfront about costs. I opted to have laughing gas in addition to the local anesthetia. They were clear in their instructions for aftercare. My daughter recovered quickly. We were very satisfied with the care we received from everyone. I would not hesitate to recommend (and have recommended) East Bay oral surgery!
