I had a really positive experience with this oral surgeon and their entire team. I appreciated the transparency—there were no surprises, and everything was clearly explained upfront. Dr. Smail took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly, which made me feel much more comfortable going into the procedure. I never felt rushed, and they were patient and professional throughout. The staff also deserves recognition. The nurses were kind, attentive, and made sure I was at ease the whole time. Even the front desk team was welcoming and helpful, which made the entire visit smooth from start to finish. I’ve just had implant surgery done here last Thursday (4/23/26), and so far everything has gone well. I’m happy with how things are progressing and will plan to come back and update my review in a couple of months. Overall, I highly recommend this practice if you’re looking for quality care, fair pricing, and a genuinely supportive team.

Had a great experience. I had a broken tooth removed, a bone graft and an implant placed. The staff was knowledgeable, organized, and professional. My experience went smoothly and efficiently. The wait time was minimal. I woke up and had 0 pain, did not even need Tylenol. Great use of new technology but with old school knowledge. Would recommend.

Dr Smail did a great job with what was a difficult extraction. His support team are just as competent in their roles and pleasant to boot. Highly recommend for those needing oral surgery.

From my initial consult to the actual tooth extraction, the entire process at East Hudson Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery was fast and seamless. The staff is incredibly kind, patient, and understanding, and everything is explained thoroughly so you always know what to expect. On the day of my extraction, Dr. Smail’s assistant, Kayla, was amazing. She has such a calming presence. Soft-spoken, kind, and very informative. She even sang along to the music while setting up the room, which helped create a relaxed atmosphere. During the procedure, she talked me through everything, gently reminding me to breathe while Dr. Smail worked. Afterward, she took the time to answer all of my questions and went over aftercare instructions in detail, especially emphasizing how to avoid a dry socket. Dr. Smail and his team truly made what could have been a stressful experience feel comfortable and manageable. I had a molar extracted today. Zero stars. Do not recommend. 👎🏻 Take care of your teeth. 😁 My only suggestion would be to possibly add some soft music or a TV in the waiting room for a more relaxing experience while waiting.

Dr. Smail’s office is kind and caring. I was in for the first portion of an implant, and it was seamless. From the initial vital check to the wheel chair to the car. Everything was great. Have had no complications since the procedure, and have followed their directions, and which had given me limited discomfort, and no further bleeding or issues.. Thank you for a great experience, wil see you in a few months.
