Dr. Trondson and his staff are wonderful. The office has a calm, peaceful atmosphere, and everyone is organized, kind, and professional. Dr. Trondson is an excellent Oral & Maxillofacial surgeon who truly listens, takes your concerns seriously, and makes sure every question is answered. I felt comfortable and confident in his care and highly recommend him.

My daughter’s surgery went quickly. I felt we were rushed out pretty quick. We were not given enough gauze for bleeding. Also only one small ice pack without a headband to hold in place. Our other daughter got these from a different office. Overall not that thorough.

I had a very positive visit. I was taken care of quickly. Everything was clearly explained to me about my tooth extraction procedure. I didn't feel any pain and before I knew it, it was done. They clearly explained the do's and don'ts for the next few days and sent that information home with me. I will definitely recommend this office to anyone who needs an oral surgeon.

Came in on referral from Dr Kennedy at Dogwood Dental after my #18 molar had been causing pain and issues which Dr Kennedy had treated me for in summer of 2024. It was fractured front to back and on the inboard side. Dr Troy Tronsdon, DDS, MD, proceeded to numb the gum and talked with me a few minutes while the medication did its job. He proceeded to extract the tooth and it came out intact without breaking apart in just a minute or so. This was THE BEST experience I've had of this kind in my entire 76 years. Dr Tronsdon and the staff at East Tennessee Maxillofacial Surgery are caring and professional and I would certainly recommend this group if you need oral surgery.

I had to have an extraction with a dental implant to follow. I was made to feel comfortable and safe. It was over quickly, and I have no memory of the procedure. I have had little discomfort since and was given clear instructions on what to do for pain and swelling. I had a followup call to see how I was doing. In four months we start the implant. I would recommend this office to anyone, and Dr. May was kind and efficient.
