I was referred to Dr. Dawson by my oral surgeon for a Maryland bridge to replace my front tooth, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I cannot recommend him enough. The final result exceeded all of my expectations and it looks so natural that you would never know it isn’t my real tooth. The attention to detail and quality of his work are outstanding.
I’ve seen a lot of dental providers over the years, and Dr. Dawson is truly one of the best. He genuinely cares about getting everything perfect and isn’t afraid to take an approach that may require more time if it means achieving the best possible outcome, which I really appreciate. On top of that, his bedside manner is exceptional. He is kind, patient, and makes you feel comfortable throughout the entire process.
The entire office deserves recognition as well. The staff is amazing, especially Lydia at the front desk. She is one of the friendliest and kindest people you’ll meet and has been incredibly helpful with everything from scheduling appointments to explaining financial options. She always goes above and beyond to make the experience easy and stress-free.
If you’re looking for a prosthodontist who truly cares about his patients and delivers exceptional results, please choose Dr. Dawson! 100/10 recommend

Dr. Dawson is an excellent dentist who is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. His entire staff is excellent and kind. I totally recommend this dental practice to anyone needing exceptional dental care. He is patient and a perfectionist making sure that the patient is pleased with his dental care.

I had an excellent experience with the prosthetic dentist and the entire team at Envision Dental Implant Center. My bridge work was done with great care and attention to detail, and the results exceeded my expectations.
The dentist was knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which really put me at ease. The staff was equally wonderful—very helpful, accommodating, and genuinely kind throughout the entire process. From scheduling to follow-up, they made sure I felt comfortable and supported.
I truly appreciate the professionalism and compassion shown by everyone there, and I would highly recommend this office to anyone needing prosthetic or implant dental work.

Dr. Dawson was fantastic! Although not necessarily a "pediatric" provider, he was amazing with my seven year old (the actual patient). He talked directly to her and made her feel very comfortable. He was great about explaining the process to me and discussing next steps in this long road for my little one. I truly appreciate him and his ability to make the start of our journey so pleasant and easy. I also love that he will be communicating directly with my daughter's dentist and orthodontist!

Meet the Doctors
Dr. Hunter Dawson, DMD, is the prosthodontist at the Charlotte location. He earned his undergraduate degree at NC State University, completed his DMD at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, and went on to complete an Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics at the same school. He has been practicing prosthodontics in North Carolina since 2017 and specializes in complex dental implant treatment and full smile reconstruction, working alongside a team of oral surgeons on site.
