Epic Periodontics and Implant Center is a specialty periodontal practice in Mount Prospect, Illinois, offering dental implants, bone grafting, sinus lifts, and full arch implant options such as All-on-4, along with gum grafting and other periodontal care. The practice describes itself as locally owned and operated, and notes that appointments are scheduled in longer blocks so patients are not rushed during visits.
For patients considering dental implants, the practice highlights the use of technology such as 3D cone beam CT scanning, digital X-rays, intraoral cameras, and digital impressions to help plan implant placement and other surgical treatment. The office is in-network with most major PPO dental insurance plans and also offers an in-house savings plan and financing through CareCredit for patients paying out of pocket.
Care at Epic Periodontics and Implant Center is provided by Dr. Saba Khan, a board-certified periodontist who has been practicing periodontics and placing dental implants since 2005. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology Dental Implants, a status the practice states is achieved by only about one third of periodontists, and she is a faculty member in the periodontics department at the University of Illinois, Chicago (UIC) College of Dentistry, where she has taught since 2007. She graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis with a focus on Periodontics and Implant Dentistry, and the practice notes she has experience providing the All-on-4 procedure. The team page also lists Dr. Arnold Gorchow in a dental sedation role.
