I had to go in to see a dentist b/c I've been having problems with my gums, in spite of the fact I thought I was taking great care of my teeth and didn't need dental care. I asked friends for recommendations, did a lot of online research and came to the conclusion that Erickson Dental Care (EDC) sounded like the best bet. Come exam day, my xrays told me a different story - my teeth were not happy. I was told I needed to have 2 teeth pulled, which of course, I didn't want to believe. Dr Sten Erickson answered all my questions and when I came in again for my "deep cleaning" (Hygenist Nicole, who is an absolute SWEETHEART, made me feel SO comfortable, makes me WANT to go back for more cleanings!) he came in per my request, and answered even MORE questions which reassured me that this really is the right thing to do. Then there is his assistant; she is such a sweetheart and made me feel totally at ease as well. I'm so pleased with EDC, can't say enough good about them. I know this is rather long, but new patients want to know more than just "they're great!" :)

Wow, I finally found the best dental clinic in Grants Pass run by the Erickson family. Their equipment is state of the art from the assistant taking X-rays and pictures making me feel very comfortable. Dr. Sten Erickson was very thorough in taking care of all my needs in the exam. The very best for me was Nicole, the hygienist, who cleaned my teeth with various methods such as numbing my gums to have a comfortable experience all the while working diligently on getting most stains removed. I felt cold so she provided a 2nd Khushi blanket continuing to intelligently explain the condition of my teeth and gums.
First thing I mentioned that my teeth are sensitive, so she used a method of numbing and I didn’t feel a thing. Now I am committed for regular cleaning andI can hardly wait to go back in six months!

Everyone at the Erickson’s dentist office are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. They answer questions and let you know what they are doing or can do for you.
I am very happy with my dentist who does a wonderful job.

Very professional dental care providers at Erickson Dental Care. Dr Sven is highly skilled in many dental procedures that would otherwise be referred out. He is conscientious and provides meticulous work with artistic excellence. Most of your dental needs met in one clinic. Top quality service is costly. Here again quality makes this the deciding factor. Highly recommended dental clinic.

I've been a patient of Dr. Erickson, Dr. Erickson, and Dr. Erickson - yes there's more than one - since 2015. Dental care has improved so much over that time. The equipment is better, the medications are better, but nothing trumps experience in what is essentially micro-surgery on your body. It is extremely skilled manual work with state of the art tools that keeps my teeth working well in this aging body. As I write this, I am recovering for a relatively painless root canal hours ago. 5 stars for Dr. Erickson!

Meet the Doctors
The clinical team at Erickson Dental Care is made up of three members of the Erickson family. Dr. Mart Erickson, DMD, has practiced dentistry in Grants Pass since May 1979. He graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1975, served four years in the U.S. Army, and earned the Advanced Restorative Certification from F.A.C.E. for advanced training in full mouth rehabilitation, with a special interest in implant dentistry, crowns, cosmetic dentistry, root canal therapy, periodontal treatment, and oral surgery. Dr. Sten Erickson, DMD, was born and raised in Grants Pass, graduated from Oregon State University Honors College, and earned his Doctor of Medical Dentistry with honors from Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry in 2011 before joining the family practice in 2014. Dr. Rachel Erickson, DMD, also graduated with honors from Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry, where she received the Dental Implant Award for her work with dental implants.
