I used to live closer but now live 2 hours away. It’s clear that Dr. Orrico and his staff are irreplaceable! The care is unmatched! I’ll make whatever arrangements needed to have him and his team care for me and my smile.😊

10/10! I came in after experiencing TMJ issues caused by using an over the counter dental guard to try to address my teeth grinding. Dr. Orrico was able to quickly diagnose me and come up with a treatment plan and I could see why he’s the leading expert in this field! The receptionist Sarah was also super organized and made it so easy to manage appointments. Even though this office is out of network for my insurance, the quality of care was completely worth the cost. Very happy with my experience here!

The office offers general and preventive dental care to adults and children, with the goal of providing high-quality care in a comfortable environment where patients can get everything they need in one location. For patients missing one or more teeth, the practice provides dental implant restoration, describing implants as a permanent, fixed solution that helps preserve the jawbone and maintain proper spacing between teeth with no special maintenance beyond regular brushing and flossing.
Beyond implants, Essex Smiles offers full mouth reconstruction plans that may combine implants, crowns, bridges, and other restorations, along with implant retained dentures, complete and partial dentures, veneers, bonding, and in-office teeth whitening. Meet the Doctors
Dr. Anthony J. Orrico, DMD, FAGD, is the practice's dentist. Born and raised in Jersey City, he earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from St. Peter's College and his dental degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark. After graduation he completed all continuums through Level V at the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Key Biscayne, Florida, and became certified in advanced appliance therapy. He received his Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry in 1998 and is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the American Equilibration Society. The office team includes Sara, the office manager and former head dental assistant who has worked with Dr. Orrico for over 20 years, and Norach, a dental hygienist practicing since 1985.
