Wow I just had an amazing experience here after really struggling with Aland Family Dentistry. Dr. Aimee was incredibly kind and worked with the x-rays I had sent over from the previous office. The hygienist Chelsea was incredible and patient and explained everything to me which felt so caring since I ask a lot of questions and have a lot of skepticism. They didn't over-diagnose me or try to make money off me, like the previous office. They didn't use fear tactics or minimize my concerns- they just gave me a cleaning and were so accommodating. I'm so glad I found a dentist in the area that is there to help you out. Thank you so much to this team.

One of the best of not the best dentist experiences of my life. Dr Aimee and her whole crew all deserve five stars for always being punctual, attentive, clean, professional, and some genuinely nice people who do a great job. I started coming here for convenience with another Dr nearby. It’s all the way across town and worth the drive.

Dr. Aimee and her team (props to hygienist Chelsea) are amazing! I had an unfortunate dental experience several years ago that created a lot of anxiety around dental visits after. Dr. Aimee (and Chelsea and team) are SO patient and kind with me. They always go out of their way to make me feel comfortable. Also, I really appreciate that services aren’t pushed - they only focus on what is needed, no unnecessary treatments. Highly recommend!

This office wasn’t the right fit for me. My biggest concern was my interaction with the dentist (I believe her name was Dr. Abbitan). I let her know upfront that I have a severe fear of needles. Instead of focusing on how we could work around that, she repeatedly told me that I should consider therapy. She also told me that my fear of needles—and even pain—is “all in my mind” and that I need to learn to separate what’s “happening in my brain from what I’m feeling in my body.” Hearing that once would have been one thing, but she repeated it several times. Eventually I became emotional and politely asked her to stop because the conversation itself was making my anxiety worse. At that point, she appeared visibly frustrated, ended the exam, and referred me elsewhere, saying I would be better served by a provider who could offer “safe” dental care because I was “not safe” due to my fear of needles and pain. What made this especially disappointing is that several members of my family see this dentist and have told me she is usually very patient with people who struggle with dental anxiety and fear of needles. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I can tolerate needles and painful procedures when I’m treated with patience, empathy, and respect. What I struggled with was having therapy repeatedly suggested while I was already in a vulnerable position. I came in looking for dental care, not a psychological evaluation. The reason I’m giving two stars instead of one is because the rest of the staff was kind and professional. They were apologetic when their X-ray equipment wasn’t working properly, which required removing and repositioning the sensor several times. They handled that situation as well as they could. My issue wasn’t with the staff—it was, regardless of her intention, how I felt dismissed and judged by the dentist. If you have dental anxiety or a fear of needles, I think it’s important to know about this experience I had.

So far, I’ve only been to this dental office once but I am definitely coming back. What a great experience. The staff was so friendly my Dentist… She was so nice kind and patient. I love how they don’t push products and I love how everything just seems so genuine their feedback, the concerns and what they suggest. I’ve gone to other dental offices and it seems like their goal is to scare you into having to get work done and that is definitely not what’s going on here
