I had my first visit at Athens Perio yesterday, since my long time periodontist just retired. I was amazed at their level of customer service. Dr. Pylant put me right at ease. I feel completely confidant that I will receive the best treatment plan possible under his care. Obviously, I have some dental issues, and yet he did not make me feel bad about it. He focused on the positive instead of just the negative. Also, Dr. Lowry, introduced himself while I was there. He took time out of his busy schedule to welcome me as a new patient. I would recommend this practice to anyone needing periodontal care!!

From the front desk staff to Dr Lowry everyone was friendly, welcoming and professional! I was put to ease as soo as I sat down in the chair. Conversations were fun and explanations complete.

The staff at this office is welcoming and friendly the minute you arrive. I’ve had very short wait times at each of my visits. Dr Lowry has been thorough, gentle and patient in his care. He has even called to check on me at home following a particularly hard procedure.

Dr. pilot was very knowledgeable, helpful, and seemed truly concerned with the best outcome for my mother and her dental needs. He was truly generous with his time. And offered an alternative treatment that seems to fit the situation. We appreciate their kind consideration and Response to patients as individuals and not just as another set of teeth and gums

I was referred to Dr. Lowry by my orthodontist, Dr. Howell, for some gum concerns I was experiencing, and I am so glad I went. From the very first appointment, Dr. Lowry was welcoming, professional, and easy to talk to. He took the time to listen to my concerns, clearly explain my treatment options, and we were able to create a plan and get everything scheduled during that same visit.
My pre-op appointment was efficient and straightforward. On the day of the procedure, everything ran right on time, which I truly appreciated. Before starting, the team made sure to ask if I had any last questions or concerns, which helped me feel completely comfortable.
Recovery has been much easier than I expected. The post-op instructions were detailed and thoughtfully prepared, answering questions I did not even realize I would have. I am still healing, but based on what I can already see, I am very pleased with the results.
If you are dealing with gum issues, I highly recommend Dr. Lowry. He is knowledgeable, thorough, and genuinely cares about providing the best solution for his patients.
