Every single person at this office is absolutely amazing! I have been a patient here for seven years, and throughout that time I have never had a negative experience. From the moment you walk through the door, you’re welcomed with genuine kindness and treated like family.
Whether I’ve been there for a routine appointment, needed emergency care, or simply had questions and needed guidance, the team has always gone above and beyond. They are professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. Their attention to detail and commitment to making patients feel comfortable is second to none.
The level of service and care provided here is outstanding, and it’s clear that everyone takes great pride in what they do. I am incredibly grateful for everything they have done for me over the years and cannot recommend this office highly enough. Thank you to the entire team for consistently providing top-notch dental care!

Moved to Chillicothe recently and already established as a patient and had cleaning done by Heather. She's wonderful, very gentle and thorough.
Yesterday my front tooth lost a filling. Oh, no! They scheduled me as an emergency appointment and I had Dr Stamas. He is so calm, explained everything. Then Missy finished up the filling. He drilled and she filled. Ha. Anyway both were excellent and had a calm manner. I have lots of health issues and seizures and some confusion, but all went successfully. I absolutely recommend this place. Even the front staff were so friendly and polite.

I've been a patient for about 5 years. I haven't met a staff member or Dr who wasn't just a flat out great person. I have severe dental anxiety and the staff takes great care in making you feel at ease through every procedure. You name it I've been through it at this office, extraction, filling, cleaning etc. Overall I can't say enough positive things about this office and their people.

I live out of state and the staff was able to see me as an emergency when I broke a tooth. I was told at the appointment I would not have a copay or a balance that would be due.
So imagine my surprise when I receive a voicemail from the office yelling at me because I had an outstanding balance. Saying they did me a favor and the least I could do was pay my bill. I did not receive any statements or bills but I was told they had sent multiple. I didn’t even receive a courtesy phone call. I would have gladly paid the $20 if I had actually gotten the bill. Wildly unprofessional and extremely rude. I definitely don’t recommend going unless you enjoy being yelled at for a simple $20.

I went here to get a biopsy done on what they thought was cancer when I was 19. I've been coming here since I was in kindergarten. I had trouble paying off my bill at 19 because the person they sent me to was out of network and it was several hundred dollars. At the time, I worked at Burger King and was taking care of my then-boyfriend who didn't have a job.
I'm 25 now. I haven't seen a dentist in several years due to financial difficulty. Pregnancy wrecked my teeth. I am finally in a place where I can afford the appointment and called to make one, so I called and told them I think I have cavities and need a cleaning.
They told me their office manager says I'm not allowed to make an appointment because they had to send letters asking for payment a few times six years ago. I told them I didn't know I had a balance and offered to pay it off - they said i don't owe anything, because i did eventually pay it back then, but I'm still not allowed to make an appointment because I didn't pay it quick enough.
It is absolutely insane that a medical business is running like I have a credit score there. I've been coming since I was a kid because I trust my dentist and now I'm not allowed to see them? Because I had trouble paying a bill six years ago at nineteen.
This place does not care about you or your family. They see you as a dollar sign. They do not care about your situation or your health. They did not care that I've been going there for nearly 20 years. I would personally avoid at all costs and I'll make sure I tell everyone I know the same.

About Family Dental Center
Family Dental Center is a multi-office dental practice with locations in Chillicothe, Jackson and Circleville, Ohio. Its Chillicothe office at 19 Executive Center Drive offers general, restorative and cosmetic dentistry for patients of all ages, from young children to seniors, with a stated focus on personalized care at an affordable price. Restorative services include dental implants, mini implants, crowns, bridges, dentures, fillings, root canals and extractions, alongside preventive care such as cleanings, exams, sealants and periodontal disease prevention. The practice also offers cosmetic services including teeth whitening, veneers, bonding and orthodontic treatment, and it participates in most dental insurance plans, including many PPO plans.
For patients considering dental implants, the practice describes implants as small titanium posts placed in the jawbone that bond with the bone to support replacement crowns, bridges or dentures. Implant treatment begins with a dental and X-ray exam and health history review conducted by the general dentists together with the practice's periodontal specialist, Dr. Levenson, who places the implants and uncovers them after healing, after which the dentists make the final teeth. Most cases involve two surgical phases and take about six to eight months. The practice offers nitrous oxide, oral sedation and intravenous sedation for anxious patients, and free second opinion consultations for patients weighing their treatment options. The Chillicothe office has evening hours until 8:00 PM on Mondays and Tuesdays.
