I am in agreement with all of the great reviews. My tooth was hurting and I called for an appointment. Darcy was very friendly and I was able to be seen w/in a few hours. Nate, the assistant, was also very nice and helpful. Dr. Rasmussen evaluated the X-rays and patiently answered all of my questions. I highly recommend this practice. I did not feel they were 'money' driven or 'rushed' through my appt. I was given options and honest opinions. I also felt everyone I came in contact with wanted my experience to be painless and trustworthy.

I had a very pleasant experience at Family Dental at Southgate Mall getting a crown re-cemented. It actually turned in to getting two crowns re-cemented as the second one popped off as I was being x-rayed. Staff were professional, friendly, and accommodating.

For Allegiance insurance members: Dr. Stanley Rasmussen is classified as in-network for his Idaho dentist office, but for Family Dental in Missoula, Montana, he IS NOT. This distinction is not clarified outright by the billing staff.
As for actual care, the dental hygienists are efficient and personable. They are comforting and understanding, and make the experience pleasant as a visit to the dentist can be.
I had one filling done by Rasmussen, which resulted in sharp pain on tooth contact and flossing. He ground the filling down a little bit and suggested I use Sensodyne. I will follow that advice, and will update if it actually helps or not.

Shockingly bad. The worst dental.expeeience i have ever had. Lied about pricing. Lied about dentist with license revoked operating on me. Left nerve they expised torturing my gums. Told me to have some other dentist take care of it because they couldn't get to it for a month. I wish I were lying or even exaggerating. I am not. Rum for your life.

I was in town seeing family when my crown blew. With only 35 minutes to close, the staff got me in right away. The staff was SO FANTASTIC, HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY!!! Lindsey Gross and her assistant were so informative and helpful. I would highly recommend this dental group!!!! I wouldn’t have been able to make it back home without being absolutely miserable. Thank you all at Family Dental Group! God bless you so much!
