Going to the dentist usually ranks right up there with my biggest fears. Anxiety, discomfort, all of it. Somehow, Dr. Finley and his staff completely flip that experience on its head. From the moment you walk in, they go out of their way to make sure you are calm, comfortable, and genuinely at ease.
Dr. Finley has a way of making you feel so relaxed that at one point I caught myself asking him if he could pluck my chin hairs. That is how comfortable I was. His staff is incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and focused on making sure you have the best experience possible, even while every metal tool known to dentistry is happening in your mouth.
If you are someone who dreads the dentist, this office will absolutely change your mind. It is hands down the best dental experience I have ever had, and I cannot recommend Dr. Finley and his team enough.

Excellent service. Took less then 5 minutes to get seen. The dentist and the assistant were very nice and addressed all their concerns. All the staff was very professional and great attitudes. I would recommend everyone to go there

Family Dentistry has been my dental home since childhood, and they are truly the best in town. From routine cleanings to now orthodontic care for braces, every experience has been nothing short of wonderful. The staff is amazing, kind, and professional. I highly recommend Family Dentistry of Texoma, you won’t be disappointed.

At the front desk Christine was so welcoming coming into the office. Haiden did a wonderful job on my teeth. Dr. Pitts was great. I’m glad I this dentist office was highly recommended to me. Everyone was polite and professional.

My husband and I are new patients to this practice, and switching to this dental office has truly been a breath of fresh air. Every person we interacted with was caring, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. I have TMJ issues and gum recession, and Haiden, my hygienist, was exceptionally gentle, efficient, and thorough. We felt well cared for from start to finish.

Family Dentistry of Texoma has been caring for patients in Wichita Falls, Texas since Dr. Ken Jarosz founded the practice in 1975 on the belief that comfort starts with an ongoing relationship between patients and their dental team. Located at 4506 Kemp Boulevard, the office serves families across the Texoma area, including patients from Burkburnett, Iowa Park, and the Sheppard Air Force Base community. The practice sees patients of all ages and handles a wide range of dental needs in one place, from a child's first exam to preventive cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, root canal therapy, gum disease treatment, extractions and wisdom teeth removal, and same-day emergency care. Cosmetic options include teeth whitening, veneers, and discreet orthodontics with Invisalign and ClearCorrect, and sedation dentistry, including intravenous sedation, is available for patients with dental anxiety.
For patients considering dental implants, Family Dentistry of Texoma completes the entire implant process in its own office, so there is no need to be referred elsewhere. The team places small titanium posts that act as artificial tooth roots, then restores them with custom crowns, and implants can also support bridges or anchor full or partial dentures for greater stability. Patients who have been told they lack enough bone may still be candidates after a bone grafting procedure, which the team can also perform in-office. The practice is accepting new patients, offers a consultation to review bone and gum health along with timeline and cost before any commitment, is open Monday through Thursday from 8 to 5, and Spanish is spoken.
Meet the Doctors
The practice's clinical team includes Dr. Steven Finley, DDS and Dr. Matt Pitts, DDS. Dr. Finley, a Wichita Falls native, earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental Branch in Houston and joined the practice in 2000. He has extensive training in orthodontics and is a graduate of the Academy of GP Orthodontics and the American Orthodontic Society. Dr. Pitts, also a Wichita Falls native, is a graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas and joined the practice in February 2010. He has pursued extensive continuing education in cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, implant surgery and restoration, and orthodontics, completed an implant continuum at Baylor College of Dentistry, completed an intravenous sedation course at Georgia Health Sciences University College of Dental Medicine, and is a member of the Academy of Osseointegration and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
