I had the best experience at Finley Periodontics! I had an Gingivectomy on my top gums and they did amazing work! The physician, Anesthesiologist, Technician and all the office staff was so friendly and professional. After over a year my insurance company sent a reimbursement to Finley Periodontics for $1,260.00 and they called me and told me they were sending my refund. What an honest company! I recommend, refer and would use them any day over and over again!

I had 2 skin grafts done on my bottom two canines due to severely receding gums. Dr. Finley and his staff were very pleasant, knowledgeable, and available if I had any questions or concerns. I was extremely satisfied with the outcome of my procedure!

I recently had some crown lengthening and some other work done with Dr. Finley, and I could not be happier with the results! I was always very insecure about my smile, and Dr. Finley and his staff could not have treated me better. They were not only very kind and welcoming, but also made sure to do all that they could to ensure I was happy with my results. I’m forever grateful for Dr. Finley’s help. I highly recommended Finley Periodontics!

After years of watching my husband deal with his numerous, read 4, partials that were ill-fitting, rocked, hurt, packed with food and eventually ended up sitting in their compacts on the bathroom counter...., I decided to go with implants.
Dr. Finley has just completed placement of my 2nd implant. I have to say, the procedure is very easy on the patient. No pain during or after or the next day.
Fully expecting attachment of crowns in August and looking forward to my first steak in a long time.
Thank you Dr. Finley for raising the quality of my life and to your wonderful staff who also make dental work a better experience.

I have had trouble with a tooth for several years and after seeing Dr. Finley, I have had a very pleasant experience with him and his staff. Both he and his staff are Very professional, pleasant and easy to work with. The treatment of my dental problem is progressing very well with no pain or discomfort. I wish I would have seen him sooner for my problem. I especially enjoyed the experience of teeth cleaning with his Dental Hygienist Kylie Hymel. Thanks to all of you.

About Finley Periodontics
Finley Periodontics is a periodontal practice at 111 Rue Fontaine in Lafayette, Louisiana, focused on gum disease, gum recession, and replacing missing or broken teeth. Meet the Doctors
Finley Periodontics is led by Dr. James M. "Mickey" Finley, DMD, MS, a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Finley earned his dental degree from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in 1997, completed his Certificate in Periodontics at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 2000, and earned a Master of Science in Oral Biology from Louisiana State University in 2001. He has served as a part-time Assistant Professor of Periodontics at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Dentistry since 2002 and has held leadership roles including President of the Louisiana Society of Periodontists and the Acadiana District Dental Association. He is joined by Dr. Brook Thibodeaux, DDS, MS, a Lafayette native who earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2021 and her Certificate in Periodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry in 2024, all from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. Dr. Thibodeaux is board certified in periodontology and implant surgery and focuses on treatment of periodontal disease, gum esthetic surgery, and dental implant therapy.
