Fletcher Hills Dental Implant & Oral Surgery Center is an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice at 366 South Pierce Street in El Cajon, California, serving patients from El Cajon, La Mesa, Santee, Lakeside, Alpine, Lemon Grove, Spring Valley and the greater San Diego area. Dental implants are a central focus of the practice, including single tooth replacement, options for patients missing all upper or lower teeth, implant retained dentures, and bone grafting to prepare the jaw for implants. The office also provides wisdom teeth removal, treatment of impacted canines, pre-prosthetic surgery, platelet rich fibrin, oral cancer exams, facial trauma care and corrective jaw surgery.
The practice describes its approach as individualized, tailoring treatment to each patient so their needs are met without being over treated or under treated. In most cases patients are given a choice of anesthesia, including local anesthesia, nitrous oxide (laughing gas), intravenous sedation or general anesthesia. The office says it uses digital scanning technology, all digital records and Cone Beam CT scanning, and it offers ample free parking along with what it describes as a beautiful view. Implant placement is handled as a collaboration with the patient's general dentist, who creates the final crown or prosthesis once healing is complete. Payment options listed on the site include CareCredit and the Cherry payment plan.
The practice is led by Dr. Nicholas Gadler, DDS, a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. Born and raised in San Diego County, he earned his dental degree from the University of Southern California, where the site says he graduated with honors, and completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency in Houston, Texas. He became board certified in oral and maxillofacial surgery in 2000 and, according to the practice, is also board certified in anesthesiology and is an active member of the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology. The site states he has placed more than 20,000 implants over roughly 29 years in private practice and lists memberships in the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the National Board of Dental Anesthesiology, the California Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Southern California Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the San Diego County Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the San Diego Dental Society.
