Exceptional experience! Dr.Niemann took care of my husband's extraction with expertise, compassion and ease. Dr. Niemann confidently performed what other oral surgeons would not do, thus referring my husband to hospitalization sedation surgery due to his advanced Parkinson's disease /dementia and additional chronic medical conditions. Dr.Niemann and his professional team made my husband and I feel welcomed and comfortable. After the procedure my husband was actually laughing and smiling. He was so happy to get rid of that tooth! Thank you!!!

You have to expect a trip to the oral surgeon will less fun than, say, self-serve frozen yogurt. But if you have to do it, you have to do it. Removing my tooth was not painless. And the surgeon had to adjust the plan partway through. But he was prepared for that. He had discussed what might happen during the consultation, and I feel he understood my objectives. The final cost was less than expected. I drove myself to the pharmacy, picked up antibiotics, and went to work for the rest of the day. Next day, took advil and binge-watched Netflix. A few weeks out, pain has gone and I’m chewing like normal.

Dr. Neiman & his staff are simply the best. I had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled. The consultation was very thorough, they took the time to discuss every aspect of the process and answer all my questions. Dr. Neiman is funny and down to earth. I knew I was in good hands. I received a text message the same evening from him, asking how I was recovering and assured me to reach out should my condition change. His staff is friendly and professional. I highly recommend their services.

Great, caring surgeon and staff. All questions were answered by Dr. Niemann and his staff, and I was informed and gently guided by Dr. Niemann throughout the procedure. This is the place to go for oral surgery, should the need arise!

This whole experience was fantastic. I'm sure there are less expensive places to have wisdom teeth removed, but the care provided here is top notch and I'll be taking my other kids here when the time comes. The doctor called me personally on a Friday night to check on my girl. Read that sentence again. A successful oral surgeon took time to call to check on his patient at 8pm on a Friday night. I'm still blown away. You literally can't go wrong by contacting this office - 6 stars if it was possible.

Meet the Doctors
The practice is led by Daniel E. Niemann, DDS, MD, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon who serves both the La Cañada Flintridge and South Pasadena offices. Dr. Niemann earned his dental degree with honors from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and completed the six year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at LAC+USC Medical Center, where he also earned his medical degree, a general surgery certificate, and training in adult and pediatric anesthesia. He is licensed in California to practice dentistry and medicine and to provide general anesthesia. His areas of surgical interest include dental implants (single or full mouth), same visit extraction and implant placement, bone grafting, office based anesthesia, oral pathology, corrective jaw surgery, and 3D imaging with computer based treatment planning. He is a member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the California Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, and the California Dental Association.
