From first visit and until last visit Franklin Dental exemplified fast professional and courteous service to my daughter and myself. The staff are polite and respectful. The hygienist was exceptionally nice to my daughter. She noticed her being afraid somewhat and took notice to calm her down by talking to her which made her more relaxed so she could numb her up and give her the shots in her mouth to totally numb her. It went well — she made it. Thanks Franklin Dental . I recommend anyone in this community to come to them.

had 3 teeth extraction done today..less than an hour ago. I would recommend Franklin Dental to ANYONE that needs a dentist. Dr. Bell was the surgeon, he was wonderful and pretty quick. He talks and checks on you through the whole procedure. He even call you friend 🧡 ()I advise you to choose him if you need help. #wonderfulpeople #teamwork #focus

Review In Real Time:
1. The office is packed with people. Seems that they book too many patients for the same time slots. Which causes extremely long wait times.
2. I came in and sat down at 8:15 am, there was a large number of patients already seated. It’s now 10:00 am and they are still waiting to be seen. They are calling patient names in groups, however been over an hour since they’ve called anyone else.
3. The waiting area is neat and clean and the bathrooms are clean as well.
4. The staff is very nice and don’t mind answering patient questions especially regarding the very long wait. After waiting nearly two hours to be seen a patient asked how much longer would the wait be, and the lady calling patients to the back politely asked for their names, and then informed them that she didn’t know how much longer it would be. I understand that this is a place for families on Medicaid or have low income, however that’s no excuse for these very long wait times. There are dental offices that see low income patients, but they are very good with patient appointment management. It’s important to value the time of patients. Book appointments with reasonable wait times. It’s simple, Don’t overbook appointments.
I will add once again, that the staff seems to be a group of very kind people who are doing their best to deal with what seems to be office mismanagement. The 4 stars are for them.

This is the place to go if you just have time to waste! They'll set you an "appointment" but that's just a show time. I have been here with my daughter (3 years old) twice and both times, we were in there for over an hour. My most recent visit (Feb 11), I walked out. The staff has no respect for your time as they don't communicate any delays they're experiencing. Upon leaving Franklin Dental (Macon, GA) I called another dentist to have my daughter examined. 0 stars, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
Edited: Since I can't "respond" to the owner's reply, I'll leave my response here. I have no interest in your scripted response or overseas call center. Thankfully, I have already found a new dentist that provides a number directly to a local office. There's nothing you need to do to make it right.

This was a positive dental experience. The entire staff was so friendly and welcoming. The dedication and caring service made the extraction almost pain free. So far our recovery journey is going well. Thanks for the caring and professional service.
Keep up the wonderful work that the entire staff is doing for the community.
Blessings,
Whitford & Gloris Shaw

About Franklin Dental
Franklin Dental in Macon, Georgia is a family dental practice located at 1386 Gray Highway inside the Market Square II shopping center. The practice describes itself as focused on general dentistry, children's dentistry, and oral surgery, seeing patients from toddlers through adults for routine exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and extractions. Dental implants are mentioned among the broader range of services offered to teens and adults, alongside other treatments like teeth whitening, cosmetic dentistry, and endodontic care.
For patients considering dental implants, it is worth noting that this location's own description centers on general and children's dentistry with oral surgery handled in-house, and implants are listed as one of several services available to adult patients rather than a specialized focus. The practice emphasizes accessibility, noting it accepts Medicaid and most insurance plans, offers a dental discount plan, and provides extended evening hours Tuesday through Thursday. Families can also schedule multiple household members for appointments at the same time.
