I had my two front teethes extracted at 60 years old - long story, but Dr. Maung is the best. He was recommended to me by my regular dentist and by my periodontist. Also two of my friends highly recommended him as well. I live in Oakland and drove 30 miles each way just to have the best care and experience. It was so worth it. Dr. Maung is caring, gentle, patient and listens to your concerns. I was in his care for 16 months for the two implants. His office is „state of the art“, modern, clean. The staff is the friendliest, knowledgeable staff I‘ve ever experienced in a dental/medical setting. The cost was also lower than I had expected. Needlesd to say, I was looking forward to my appointments each time, although I have dentophobia. Highly recommend! ❤️

As a general dentist, I trusted Dr. Lee (anesthesiologist) and Dr. Maung (oral surgeon) with the surgical extraction of my 10-year-old daughter's impacted teeth. That trust was absolutely well placed.
From start to finish, everything went exactly as planned. The surgery was smooth, and my daughter's recovery has been remarkably easy and virtually pain-free, which I credit to their exceptional skill and experience. She even felt well enough to do her homework later the same day!
The entire experience was outstanding. The staff was friendly, organized, and efficient throughout check-in, imaging, and post-operative care. Everything was explained clearly, and there were no surprises.
We are truly grateful to the entire Fremont Oral Surgery team for their professionalism, expertise, and compassionate care. As a dentist, I know what high-quality care looks like—and this is where dentists trust their own kids.

My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed this morning with Dr. Patel. The staff, were very welcoming and did a great job in informing me about the expectations post-op and the best care practices to prevent swelling and infection. My daughter is about 7hrs post-op and aside from numbing she’s doing well. Thank you Dr. Patel, Elaine and Veronica for the wonderful care you had provided.

I had an excellent experience with Dr.Maung. The procedure was much easier than I expected—very quick, gentle, and virtually painless. They were highly skilled and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire appointment. I also really appreciated how clearly they explained the aftercare instructions, making it easy to know exactly what to do during recovery. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for implant clinic!

I had a tooth extraction and bone graft procedure with Dr. Patel, and I couldn't be happier with the care I received. Dr. Patel was professional, skilled, and took the time to explain everything before the procedure, which helped ease my anxiety.
A special thank you to Sam and Elaine for their kindness, patience, and excellent support throughout the entire process. The team made me feel comfortable and well cared for from check-in to follow-up. The procedure went smoothly, and my recovery has been much better than I expected.
