I had a consultation with a periodontist here and was pleased with the doctor’s professionalism and care. However, my experience with billing was disappointing. I had clearly communicated that I do not have dental insurance, and while the consultation fee was explained upfront, an additional Cone beam CT scan was performed without informing me of the cost beforehand. I was later charged $310 for this test without prior consent or discussion.
Transparency in pricing is essential, especially for patients paying out of pocket. A simple explanation of the cost before proceeding would have made a significant difference. While the clinical care was good, I would hesitate to recommend this practice to patients without insurance due to the lack of clear communication around fees.

I had a consultation at this periodontist office in October after specifically calling ahead to ask whether my insurance would cover the consultation. The receptionist assured me it would, so I proceeded with the appointment.
The consultation itself went well, and I spoke with the Jen afterward, who told me they would contact my insurance regarding coverage for the procedure and that I would receive information in the mail. Two months passed and I never received anything. When I called in December to follow up, I was told by Jen that the office had never submitted anything to my insurance and now my window for treatment has passed.
During that same call, I was informed that I owed a $150 consultation fee, despite being told previously that the consultation was covered. Jen said she would waive the fee, but a month later I was still charged. When I called again, I spoke with Vy, who seemed unaware of the situation and said there was no documentation of the fee being waived. I was told I would receive a call back, which never happened.
When I tried calling again, my call went straight to voicemail. I called back immediately from a different number and the call was answered, which was concerning. During that conversation, Jen told me that “she knows her girls” and that they would never have told me the consultation was covered—essentially implying that I was lying.
I want to note that the providers themselves were kind and professional. However, the handling of insurance, billing, and customer service was disorganized and dismissive, and my concerns were not taken seriously. Based on this experience, I would not feel comfortable returning to this practice.

Superlative dental office. Dr Brodsky was was painless, efficient and charming the whole way through a difficult procedure (dental implant). His office was also incredibly helpful in dealing with my recalcitrant insurance company. I highly recommend this office—its doctors and staff.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr Rost she was absolutely professional in all aspects of my care. She took the time to explain in detail what needed to be done and showed me the X-rays for the implant and extraction procedure. She put me right at ease with her charming and warm personality. I felt completely comfortable and relaxed during the entire surgery. I cannot recommend her more highly. Her assistant Shannon was also awesome.

The office is neat, clean and pleasant. The entire staff is exceptional. Dr Rost and those supporting her are thoroughly professional, courteous and considerate of the patients. Dr. Rost makes an otherwise arduous experience seem pleasant mixing capable professionalism with her unique sense of humor.🙂
