I cannot say enough great things about my experience with Dr. Chan and his team! After putting off my dental implant for five years due to extreme anxiety about dental work, I finally went through with it—and I only regret not doing it sooner.
Dr. Chan made me feel completely comfortable throughout the entire process. To my surprise, I experienced zero pain—even during recovery! I had some swelling for about two days, but no discomfort whatsoever. When I tell people this, they don’t believe me!
Beyond the exceptional care from Dr. Chan, his staff and technicians made me feel so welcomed and at home. I am forever grateful for their kindness and professionalism. If you’re considering a dental implant and need an oral surgeon for placement, I highly recommend Dr. Chan. You will be in the best hands!

I went in for a wisdom tooth extraction and an implant. The staff and Dr Chan made me feel comfortable during the process. Dr Chan called and checked on me in the late afternoon the day of surgery to ensure I was able to get my medication and to see how I was feeling. I would recommend Dr Chan to anyone who is apprehensive about going to the dentist. He has many years of experience and cares about his patients.

Dr. Chan is a GREAT Doctor. My son needed a very extensive surgery. He and his staff took care of my son in the best way. His surgery was done and we were MORE than happy with the results. He is kind, empathetic, and thorough. He loves his job and it shows in how he treats his patients. My sons surgery was a complete success. Dr. Chan called himself the evening of his surgery to check in on him. Dr's like him are hard to find these days. His staff is also amazing. They are friendly, and compassionate. Without hesitation I recommend Dr. Chan for any of your oral care needs.

Can't say enough about my experience. It was wonderful. From my consultation, to my procedure, and the caring follow up phone call I received from Dr. Chan that evening to check on me, everything was A+. Very kind and professional staff, did not keep me waiting, answered all my questions, and took very good care of my dental health and in calming my nerves. There were risk factors with my procedure and Dr. Chan performed my procedure flawlessly. They did such a great job that even my recovery has been very easy and very minimal pain. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for an exceptional Doctor who will treat you like family, Dr. Chan is your man! He and his colleague, Dr. Krall took such great care of my 8 year old son as they administered anesthesia and extracted his extra hidden tooth. They were professional and kind hearted, as if we were family. The quality of their work is reflected in the comfort and peace myself, my husband and my son felt entering the surgery and even more importantly in my son’s quick and comfortable recovery. Dr. Chan is skilled in his work and truly cares about his patients.

About Gary H Chan DDS, Fadsa
Gary H. Chan, DDS, FADSA is an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice located at 233 Cajon Street, Suite 4 in Redlands, California. Dr. Chan is trained in the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, with services that include dental implants, bone grafting, wisdom tooth removal, tooth extraction, oral pathology, and treatment of facial trauma, facial pain, and jaw joint disorders. The office staff is trained in general anesthesia and intravenous sedation, and the practice describes its implant surgery as being performed in an in-office, hospital-style operating suite.
For patients replacing missing teeth, the practice explains that implant treatment is a team effort. Dr. Chan performs the implant surgery, any initial extractions, and bone grafting when needed, while the patient's restorative dentist makes and fits the final crown, bridge, or denture. Depending on the case, Dr. Chan may place single-stage implants that do not require a second uncovering procedure, and in some situations implants can be placed at the same time as a tooth extraction. The practice also welcomes referrals from other dentists in the Redlands area.
