I had a great experience getting a wisdom tooth removed by Dr. Burns! He completed it very quickly and his assistant Taylor was wonderful as well. She made me feel so comfortable and cared for and explained everything in depth to me! I appreciated Dr. Burns following up after surgery as well. Would 100% recommend!!

Careless. My fiancé had 4 wisdom teeth extracted. The top two ended up puncturing through to his sinus. Therefore, causing a sinus infection…. Still to this day has an issue with his sinuses. We have had to go to different dentists, ear nose and through doctors, and multiple er visits…because of your carelessness. Also, was told by staff- “if you had a dry socket you’d be at the ER. No need to come in”. He did have a dry socket..TWO. But because staff could not take 20 minutes of their day- we spent 2 hours in the emergency room with a fever from infections..again caused by carelessness. I would be very cautious when sending a loved one to this establishment. Thank you for the wasted time, sleepless nights, and lack of empathy.

Amazing care. The people that work here are incredible. From the beginning to end I was taken care of with professionalism and kindness. Doctor B was fantastic, he was kind and even called me to check up on me after the surgery! I would highly recommend this dentist for wisdom teeth removal.

Dr. Burns and his staff are wonderful!! I would definitely go back if I needed another tooth extracted. I would recommend them to family and friends. I’m going to have both of my sons go there for their wisdom teeth extractions bc I had such a great experience in that office. I had my tooth extracted on a Friday morning and Dr. Burns himself called me that evening to see how I was doing. That was amazing to me that he took time out of his day to personally call me!! Awesome place!! Highly recommend!! Four months later I took one of my sons to have his wisdom teeth removed… STILL HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE!!! They genuinely care about you!!

Absolutely amazing experience! From scheduling, pre-op, to post-op procedure, and recovery has been one of the easiest I have ever had. The front desk staff were easy to speak with and helpful with all communication with getting on the schedule. Surgery was clear and concise on expectations. I left after having all 4 wisdom teeth removed, from walking in to heading home, in less than 2 hours. The doctor even called me later in the evening to ask about how I was feeling and I have never had that happen. 10/10

He served seven years of active duty as a Naval Dental Officer before completing a four year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Indiana University Medical Center in 1996, after which he entered private practice in the Geist area. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
