I went here for my first teeth whitening experience ever- and it did not disappoint! My teeth were decently white to begin with, and it still made a difference. The staff were friendly and informative. I go back in a few weeks to continue the “at home” whitening process. (Left, before. Right, after.)

I normally go to the Bethlehem office, but I happened to be closer to this location. Rosie cleaned my teeth and was incredibly friendly and made me feel comfortable the whole time. Then Dr. Mantilla took care of a cavity for me and was very thorough, explaining everything he was doing and what was going on with my tooth. I also really appreciated that they didn’t make me wait at all - I was actually taken back before my appointment time!
The aesthetics of the office are also so cute — the picture frames and décor make it feel warm and welcoming and honestly don’t make me feel like I’m in a dental office at all.
Kelly, Mora, and Janessa were all very friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. Thank you so much!

I had such a great experience at Gentle Family Dentistry. Dr. Mantilla is truly amazing he’s gentle, patient, and takes the time to explain everything in a way that actually makes you feel comfortable and confident in what’s being done. You can tell he really cares about his patients and the quality of his work.
Kelly, the office manager, is just as incredible. She keeps everything running smoothly and makes the whole office feel welcoming and organized. From scheduling to check-in to any questions afterward, she makes the process so easy and stress-free.
The entire team creates such a warm, positive environment. If you’re looking for a dentist who’s skilled, kind, and genuinely invested in your care, Dr. Mantilla and his team are the ones to go to. I couldn’t recommend them more.

Top-tier service from start to finish. The office is spotless and uses high-tech equipment, which made my cleaning and exam quick and painless. The RDH was so patient and explained everything before doing it. I really appreciated that they didn’t try to upsell me on unnecessary procedures. Highly recommend for anyone looking for honest, expert care. Check them out for your next dental appointment.

I just had the honor of having Dr. Mantilla replace one crown and do a new crown next to it in a very difficult area of my mouth (the back lower two molars on the bottom). It was the first time he had done this kind of work for me. I was so impressed by the care and kindness he showed me. He was meticulous in his work and gave me numerous breaks, as I have very bad TMJ problems. I could not have asked for a better experience, both with the temporary crowns and now with the permanent crowns. I have had quite a few crowns and crown replacements done in the past by other dentists, but Dr. Mantilla’s care was outstanding. I highly recommend him. In the past, I have also had Dr. Gangji do two crowns for me, and his care was also outstanding. I also highly recommend his office staff and his technicians. Everyone is so kind, and they go above and beyond to make the experience a pleasant one. If you are looking for a new dental office, try Gentle Family Dentistry.

About Gentle Family Dentistry & Implant Center
Gentle Family Dentistry & Implant Center is a family dental practice with two offices in the Lehigh Valley, one on South Cedar Crest Boulevard in Allentown and one on Easton Avenue in Bethlehem. The practice describes itself as a provider of comprehensive general and cosmetic dentistry for patients of all ages, with services that include dental implants, porcelain veneers, crowns and bridges, dentures and partial dentures, tooth extractions, root canals, fillings, teeth whitening, Invisalign clear aligners, and children's dentistry. The practice also notes that its offices use digital X-rays, 3D scanning, and intraoral cameras, and that nitrous oxide is available.
For patients missing teeth, the practice explains that dental implants are small titanium posts placed in the jawbone that bond with the bone to create a stable foundation for replacement teeth, helping preserve facial structure and restore the ability to eat comfortably. Implant care begins with a consultation that includes a dental and X-ray examination and health history review, with the practice noting that surgical placement may be handled in-house or by an oral and maxillofacial surgeon it refers patients to, after which the practice designs and fits the final crowns, bridgework, or dentures. The practice says it aims to treat every patient like family while tailoring care to their needs and budget.
