I found EVERYONE at this practice, very professional, knowledgeable and personable. After my tooth extraction, and even though I was given instructions that would help with any questions or condition I might experience, I was very happy to have experienced NO pain and No swelling. My healing was relatively quick and comfortable.

I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed here, including two impacted bottom ones, and my experience was genuinely excellent. Everyone was extremely kind and informative from start to finish. The facility is very clean and modern, which helped me feel comfortable right away. My recovery was smooth and easier than I expected, and they were very helpful and attentive during the follow up. They never made me feel judged and it’s clear they truly want to help their patients. I highly recommend them.

I am one of those that are terrified of going to the dentist. This was the best dentist I have been to. The whole staff are wonderful. I didn't feel any pain and afterwards, I have hardly any swelling and took ibuprofen once. I had 2 teeth surgically removed. This is the only place I will go for oral surgery in the future. And I didn't have to wait forever to get an appointment. Awesome experience!

These folks were God sent!! I have been told for over 25 years that I could not have upper dental implants due to bone loss and other factors. So after being told this , I just gave up after 2 partials that didn’t fit the best … Then back last July I was told I needed to get 2 implants for my lower teeth and went to see Dr Henderson after being recommended by a friend. My bite was horrible and I self conscious of my smile due to missing back teeth….After a consultation Dr Henderson informed me I was able to get my upper teeth as well as my bottoms!! No problems at all with my extractions or my placements. No bruising and no pain, just a all around great experience that has given me a reason to Smile BIG

Dr Henderson and his team are very knowledgeable and professional. My daughter had her wisdom teeth extracted and they took great care of her. I am in the dental profession and I will continue to refer to this office.

About Georgetown Oral & Facial Surgery
Georgetown Oral and Facial Surgery is an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice located at 101 Darby Drive, Suite 101 in Georgetown, Kentucky, serving patients from Georgetown, the Lexington metro area, and surrounding communities. The practice is led by Dr. Robert Henderson, a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, and its procedures include dental implants, bone grafting, sinus lifts, wisdom tooth extractions, impacted teeth, frenectomy, oral pathology, jaw joint (TMJ) therapy, and intravenous sedation. The practice describes using advanced diagnostic and imaging technology for treatment planning, with an emphasis on clear communication, patient education, and individualized treatment plans.
For patients considering dental implants, the practice explains that a titanium post is placed in the jawbone under local anesthesia or sedation, allowed to fuse with the bone over several months, and then topped with a custom crown, bridge, or denture. The team evaluates bone structure, gum health, medical history, and personal goals to determine whether implants can be placed safely, and notes that conditions such as severe bone loss may call for preparatory treatment like bone grafting first. Online patient registration and appointment requests are available through the website, along with online bill payment and financing information. Office hours are Monday through Friday starting at 8:30 AM, with early closing on Wednesdays.
