The initial visit went well.
Amy is very accommodating and explained financial part clearly.
Dr Goodove was really nice and explained everything during the initial visit but never talk to him anymore after the surgery ( guessing bec my daughter is already adult).
Front desk staff may benefit from coaching on customer service ..her demeanor came across that she doesn’t want to be bothered/ or my need is an interruption.
The staff who provided the post care teaching was really nice and accommodating.
Answered all our questions very professionally..
Sat with us during the teaching.
The staff who walked my daughter to the car was very nice and attentive as well.
Explaining expectations and re assuring everything went well..
I love the she even plac my daughter seta belt.

Great experience at Goodov Oral Surgery. My daughter was well taken care of from start to finish. The service was excellent, and all instructions were clear and easy to follow. From pre-op to post-op, everything was explained thoroughly, and the staff even followed up after her wisdom tooth extraction. Overall, it was a very good experience, and we felt supported throughout the entire process.

I was nervous when arriving to my appointment at Dr. Goodove’ office, it was my first time having to get teeth removed.But nurse Jackie and Dr. Goodove made me feel at ease. They explained everything to me during my procedure, they reassured me that everything was going smoothly. And before I knew it the procedure was complete. I was given information on how to care for the area while at home and to put a cherry on top I received an after hours call making sure that I was ok and had no further questions. I would definitely return if I needed any other oral procedures done.

After my dentist was unable to fully extract a tooth, I went to Dr. Goodove's VB office for him to complete the procedure. We discussed the Xray, how the procedure would be performed, and post-op care. I was amazed at how quickly, painlessly, and easily it was accomplished. The staff is personable and professional. The entire experience is 5-star!

I was very nervous going to have Oral Surgery. Dr. Goodove kept me informed the next step during the procedure.The went quickly and the staff assisting Dr. Goodove was very informative about my after Oral Surgery instructions and questions. I received a checking on you call from Dr.Goodove's office later that evening.I really appreciate that.I also wanted to add, the entire dental office is immaculate and smells so new and fresh.

Meet the Doctors
Dr. Scott R. Goodove, DDS is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who has served the Virginia Beach and Chesapeake communities for over 17 years. He is a native of Virginia Beach and a Fellow of leading dental anesthesia organizations. Dr. Peter Zagursky, DDS is a native of Philadelphia who graduated from Temple University, served in the U.S. Army for over 21 years, and joined the practice in 2014. Dr. Samuel M. Fowler, DDS is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who also serves in the Air Force at Langley Air Force Base and spends a few days each month caring for patients at the practice. All three surgeons are members of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Virginia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and Dr. Goodove and Dr. Zagursky are dual board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology.
