If I could give this office more than 5 stars I would. Dr. MacGregor and his whole staff are such wonderful people. I had such a wonderful experience here getting my 4 WISDOM TEETH REMOVED. Dr. MacGregor is very knowledgeable and cares about his patients. Any concerns you have or specific needs can be addressed at the consultation. Something I really love about this office is how they allow a parent or guardian to be with you until they are ready to start your procedure. I’m going to explain my experience/the process if you all wish to continue reading. Please see *** for a little about the procedure. It is better if Dr. MacGregor explains it. First I had to send my panoramic x-ray and Dentist referral. Then you can make an appointment for a consultation. Please plan ahead, it is 2 MONTHS booking out. Next they will send patient paperwork to fill out. I believe I sent mine electronically, or you could by mail. This office is very easy to get a hold of, very good communication. The office is very clean, nice building. The whole staff is very kind and supportive. They explained the price after my consultation very well. I must mention I do not have insurance. This is my opinion/experience: You want to schedule a surgical date that you can take off ONE WEEK, You will need time to heal after your surgery. I was very tired by the end of the week. *Dr. MacGregor is so wonderful and explains everything thoroughly. He takes the time for his patients and there is just no one like him. He really cares about his patients. He thoroughly explained each tooth to me, and why they should come out. I found it really interesting and it helped me feel less anxious and better understand my dental health. He also explained the procedure and what to expect. I had such severe anxiety Dr. MacGregor was kind enough to speak with my Doctor and come up with a plan to help me. I just had to fill out 2 release forms, one with him, one with my Doctor, so that I gave them permission to speak to each other. I don’t think most would do this, Dr. MacGregor went above and beyond. I was able to schedule my surgery one week later. Once your surgery is scheduled, they give you before care instructions. Ask Dr. MacGregor about your specific needs. I took my last drink at 11:00 p.m. **TIP: On the day of the surgery, I took a cup of water, and rinsed my mouth, to wet my mouth so that way I would not feel thirsty or have dry throat before my procedure. Once you arrive at the office, you will have to fill out last minute paperwork, just giving them permission to operate on you. PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHAPERONE READ IT WITH YOU. I was expecting wording that would derail my anxiety, so I just tried to ignore it. The procedure is very safe. It is just for legal purposes. Anything regarding the procedure was not for me to worry about, it is only for Dr. MacGregor to worry about. I was just there to take a nap. ***The wisdom teeth procedure itself, there’s nothing to it. I’d recommend asking for laughing gas at your consultation. It helped distract me before my procedure. Everyone was so kind to me. One of the nurses even held my hand. You fall asleep so fast, it must have been under 10 seconds. You don’t even notice, and by the time it’s done you are waking up. Everyone is very experienced, I didn’t even have bruising from the IV. It just feels like a poke in your left arm. The monitors, it’s almost like when you go to the Dr., blood pressure monitor, etc. The last monitor they attach, the beeping is so mellow it sounds like you’re at the grocery store and your items are being scanned. After your procedure, the nurse even asks if you would like some water, take the water and re-hydrate. Aftercare: They give you instructions. Make sure you have Ibuprofen, and extra gauze. First and second day are the worst. After one week you will feel so much better. They gave me liquid antibiotic Amoxicillin. I am very happy that a liquid form was available. Then there is just the follow up appointment. I am so thankful for everyone and I highly recommend this office.

I recently had 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr Macgregor and it was overall a great experience. The office is very clean and nice looking. The staff were great. In the pre surgery appointment Dr Macgregor explained everything and was very thorough. I don’t have any regrets going to his office and would highly recommend him to anybody else. After the surgery I called and had a question and a nurse called me back literally within 2 mins. Today is 10 days since surgery and I’m feeling great.

I have had a serious fear of the dentist for 30 yrs, so bad that my teeth were in really bad shape. 3 broken and a wisdom tooth that needed to be extracted immediately. I had spent years sick from infections, then the pandemic, then wait lists after offices started opening. I am new to the area and Great Lakes got me in really quickly. I explained how nervous I was and that I couldn't do it without general anesthesia. They were all kind, understanding, and most importantly DIDN'T judge me. I felt completely at ease the day of my procedure, they explained everything to me and made sure I was comfortable. I'm so grateful I found a team that could deal with my issues and phobia. Aftercare explanation was thorough and they made sure I knew I could call with any concerns. I had a wonderful experience and everyone there is A++. My husband will be going next.

This place is amazing!!! I normally get anxious when I go to a dentist but this time I got anxious for nothing because the entire staff including the oral surgeon was so nice and calming. I was in and out in less than an hour and it was a wisdom tooth that broke that had to be pulled. I seriously can’t say enough good things about my experience. They also told me beforehand how much I was going to have to pay out of pocket because my insurance did not participate with them. Best money I ever spent at any dentist/oral surgeon!

Dr. MacGregor is an example of how all Dr's should be. He doesn't make you feel like an inconvenience and rush through your appointment so he can get out early and hit the golf course. He explains every little step he's going to do and doesn't use difficult medical terms. He will break down the prices of everything before he begins so there are no surprises. His staff is extremely friendly and professional. They all seem to have chemistry and work together like a team. They do not eccept my insurance, but still submitted everything to them for me. This is my second procedure with Great Lakes. The last one was a tooth extraction and the recent was an implant with bone graft. Both times were painless. No pain meds necessary. Unfortunately Google only allows 5 stars.
