Thank you so much for carefully listening to my story and providing a thorough exam. I am not stressing about my extensive work plan that needs to be done going forward. I neglected seeing a dentist for 10+ years focusing solely on my duty to see my child through his brain injury. I now look forward to a clean healthy mouth. Thank you to Cassandra Dr. Martinez and especially the financial coordinator who is making it possible. Im looking forward to my next appointment. Many thanks!

$20,000 for worst decision and experience I've had in my life. I had crowns before 3 broke off because of another dentist trying to do a route canal but couldn't, but those teeth lasted for over 30 years with no problems and looked 100 times better than these implants I got. To start off should have caught on right the bat, when my wife said when she picked me up, I was still out of it, had ne facing the wall in a wheelchair with blood still running out of my mouth. Came back next day to get my temporary teeth, told them I thought they set to far back and to small. Came back next time to get next set of temporary teeth, told them same thing again. Something they also found that they did wrong they didn't fit the implants with my bottom dentures, so I had to pay to have my dentures redone. Came back to get my dentures back, ok but wrong color. Came back for my last set of temporary teeth, complained of same problems they see nothing wrong. Come back for pernment teeth complained of same problem, nothing happen Came back for cleaning, l complained about chip on back tooth which I've only had a couple months, still nothing wrong with implants. Another dentist stated about the chip was like buying a car things are going to go wrong like tires. I only had them a couple months.Came back for cleaning, told them implants still hurt, took x-ray said nothing wrong. set up a appt for removing teeth to check implants girl at counter told me it was going to cost $30.00. Came back told me it was going to cost $300.00, we argued they said I still money in my account that would cover it.(Why did they try to charge me in the first place if I had money on my account). They took my teeth out, hygienist checked my implants said there was a little bit of skin over hanging that was causing the problem, dentist looked at them said same thing it would take care of it's self. As of this date everything is still the same, implants hurt, hard time brushing teeth hurts bad. I'm going to a place that does nothing but implants to have them check the implants that hurt. If there's a problem, I will be going to Florida Dental Association. Also if there's something wrong with them I would like to get at least half my money back. Waiting to hear from you. Your sales representative lied, she told me that you keep a set of teeth there just incase something happens to my pernment teeth. I called and ask if I could get those teeth because I may be moving back to Kentucky, she told clerk told me you'll don't do that. I'm not moving until I get this resolved

My daughter recently came to visit my wife and I here in Cape Coral. She was suffering with horrific pain from a tooth. It was Christmas eve and we starting searching for emergency dental care. Because it was a holiday, most offices were closed we were hopefull but not expecting to find help perhaps until after the holiday. To our surprise and delight Holly answered the phone at Gulf Coast Smiles and instantly went into action to assist. She spoke to Dr. Mauricio Martinez on our behalf and he immediately understood our situation and need and agreed to see our daughter. We were soon at his office, he quickly assessed her condition, carefully explained what was causing her pain, and offered several treatments that would stop her pain. Once we chose our preferred treatment that he recommended he professionally and caringly proceeded with the treatment without any delay. I have never before witnessed such a caring, compassionate and professional team. I am truly grateful to have found Dr. Mauricio Martinez and for the excellent dental care provided for my daughter. Thank you Gulf Coast Smiles 😃

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I have never completed a Google review before, but I’m compelled to now after terrible service from this dentist. In 2025 they convinced me I needed a crown on a ā€œhealthyā€ tooth. Last month I was experiencing severe pain and called for an emergency visit. I was told the dentist couldn’t see me for 5 days. The next day the pain and swelling was worse so I called back asking if the dentist couldn’t see me call in something for the pain and perhaps antibiotics. I was told he wouldn’t do that unless he could see me. At approximately 3:30p that same day, they asked me what time I could come in if the dentist could in fact see me. I told them I could be there by 4:00p. I was then told that they leave at 4:00p so I’d need to wait for my appointment in 4 days. I asked if there was any advice they had and was told to alternate Tylenol and Aleve, and use a warm compress. After 2 days of horrible pain and swelling I went to the Urgent care. They immediately sent me to the hospital emergency room for a possible abscess. After cat scans and blood tests at the ER, I was transported by ambulance to the trauma center at Gulf Coast Medical Center where an oral surgeon would help me. I spent 2 nights in the hospital being treated with steroids and antibiotics. I was then discharged and went in for surgery the next day to extract the crowned tooth (which should never have been crowned since there was clear decay in the root), and an impacted wisdom tooth. While still in the hospital, I called the dentist to cancel my appointment, and left a message for the dentist that I was in the hospital. Dr. Martinez called me back only to point out that a former dentist at his practice had done the crown work, and never apologized for failing to help me. After my extractions, the infection worsened, and I was admitted back to the hospital for 4 nights. Throughout this process, I repeatedly heard from my oral surgeon, the hospital doctor, and the infectious disease doctor that the infection got so bad because ā€œit just wasn’t caught in timeā€. Had Dr. Martinez had the compassion and professionalism to help one of his patients in dire need, he would have seen immediately the need for treatment and we could have gotten ahead of this. I have yet to hear any thing further from him about my condition, but instead was sent an invoice for $50 for cancelling my appointment. I am so thoroughly disappointed in this Practice, and the callous treatment I’ve received. There are many good dentists around to choose from so please do not take a chance with Dr. Martinez.

ā€œHad a great experience at Gulf Coast Smiles. The doctor, the assistant working with him, and the ladies at the front desk were all very kind, professional, and welcoming. They made me feel comfortable and took great care of me. Highly recommend!ā€ 😊
