I’ve known Dr. Richard Luong, DMD for over a decade, and seeing him build his own practice, Happy Teeth, has been truly inspiring. His compassion and genuine care for people have always stood out.

Dr. Luong has been my dentist for almost a decade now, and he’s truly the best! I’ve had several treatments done with him, including one dental implant—and I’m ready for another one today. I had a great experience at this dental office! The staff were very friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. The dentist and assistants were professional, gentle, and took the time to explain everything clearly.

I live in a different area than this dental office, but because of the dentist and his staff I will travel to get here. They make your visit enjoyable despite the uncomfortable parts of the visit! The dentist has a superb smile and the music playlist is relatable!! I really like this dental office, they have a great team from the receptionist to the dental staff.

About Happy Teeth & Affordable Implants
Happy Teeth & Affordable Implants is a dental office on East Colfax Avenue in Denver, near the Cheesman Park and City Park West neighborhoods, that focuses on making tooth replacement attainable for more people. The practice offers dental implants alongside partial and complete dentures, including traditional and immediate dentures, so patients with missing teeth have a full range of options. The team is upfront that implant treatment is often out of reach because of cost and limited insurance coverage, and they state a commitment to making it both accessible and affordable. The office accepts Medicaid, Child Health Plan Plus, and most insurance plans, and Spanish is spoken.
Beyond implants, the practice provides comprehensive and routine exams, dental hygiene visits and nonsurgical gum disease treatment, fillings and crowns, root canal therapy, and simple and surgical tooth extractions, including wisdom teeth. Care is offered for patients of all ages and backgrounds in what the practice describes as a comfortable, judgment-free environment. The office is open Monday through Friday, with later evening hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and there is a free patient parking lot behind the building.
Meet the Doctors
Happy Teeth & Affordable Implants is led by two general dentists who co-own the practice, Dr. Richard Luong, Doctor of Dental Medicine, and Dr. Bradley Cox, Doctor of Dental Medicine. The two were classmates at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine and graduated together in 2015 before each relocating to Colorado, where they reunited to open a practice built around quality care in a welcoming atmosphere. They are supported by two registered dental hygienists, Eve Luong and Bri Hanson. Eve has worked in dental hygiene since 2014, including eight years at a nonprofit dental clinic in Boulder before joining the Denver team.
