Two recent EXCELLENT experiences at Hawaii Family Dental, Kihei office. Both started with the professional front office team. Answering my questions and showing compassion explaining scheduling, insurance and payments. The January 16 teeth cleaning was with dental hygienist Christy Murashige. She is a great professional and helped put my dental anxiety at ease. Christy explained each step and ensured I was comfortable, ensuring I was not in pain at any time. We need more hygienist like Christy! My next appointment was February 7th with Dr. Jeff Thomas. He is also very professional and reassuring. He repaired a failed filling (Filling was old, not originally installed by HFD) and made sure there was no pain. He kept the communication open and also explained every part of the procedure. HFD is lucky to have these two professionals and the team of dental assistants and office staff. I will highly recommend this office to everyone. Mahalo!

Always happy with the service I receive at Hawaii Family Dental. Very little waiting, as a rule. Friendly service. Dr. Thomas and the whole staff all seem to work well together. I've always been completely satisfied with care I receive in their practice. They always do their best to accommodate my schedule.

My experience at Hawaii family dental Kihei was exceptional these last two visits. I always have a good experience, but I got to see hygienist Yana for the first time, and she made my visit very comfortable and calming. My appointment was for a routine teeth cleaning, but she could see that I needed a deep cleaning and as scary as I鈥檝e heard those to be, she was very gentle, very caring and attentive. She takes a lot of pride in her work and you can tell she really enjoys what she does. I am scheduled to see her again in six months. I recommend Hawaii family dental, and especially recommend Yana.

On vacation here in Kihei. A crown fell off a tooth. Contacted Hawaii Family Dental. "Em" are the front desk helped me to get an immediate appointment and processed my insurance. She was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Jeffrey saw me the next day for my appointment. Exam taken, X-ray taken, and he re-cemented the crown. Everyone at this facility was extremely customer friendly, kind, and professional. The entire process was quick and easy. Thank you all.

I love this place. I only wish I had discovered this place long ago, kept going back to my old school dentist in wailuku. 馃ズ Way more modern and they communicate and talk over your scans instead of keeping you in the dark. I鈥檝e been to many dentists all over the country and this one (perhaps one other in Brooklyn, I can鈥檛 remember) is so open about procedures from first consult through to financing. An awesome aloha vibe. Keeps you informed of options.
