Highly recommend Hickory Periodontics! Dr Weller and staff are great! I was nervous about getting a laser procedure done as recommended by Dr Weller. There was no need to be nervous as Dr Weller made this painless from beginning to end. I can’t say enough how impressed I am with his work and how comfortable I felt while getting it done.
Thank you Dr Weller and Staff

I’ve been coming here for regular maintenance to manage my gum disease, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about the team. Even though I’m in and out for routine visits, they never make me feel like just another appointment on the schedule.
The staff is incredibly friendly, and they genuinely remember who I am. They always take the time to make sure I’m comfortable in the chair and check in with me throughout the cleaning. It makes a huge difference when you’re dealing with ongoing maintenance—they manage to make a potentially tedious appointment feel easy and even pleasant.
If you need a periodontist for long-term care, this is a great place to be. The combination of skilled care and a team that actually prioritizes your comfort keeps me coming back without any dread.

About Hickory Periodontics
Hickory Periodontics is a periodontal and dental implant practice located at 3305 16th Avenue Southeast, Suite 301, in Conover, North Carolina, serving patients from Hickory, Conover, and the surrounding Catawba County communities. The practice describes itself as gum and implant specialists, focused on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal (gum) disease and the placement of dental implants. For patients missing one tooth or several, the office offers single tooth implants, implant-supported bridges, and implant-supported dentures, and works closely with each patient's general or restorative dentist, who typically designs and places the final crown, bridge, or prosthetic once healing is complete.
Because healthy jawbone is an important foundation for an implant, the practice also provides bone grafting and implant preparation procedures, including ridge preservation at the time of extraction, sinus lift, and ridge augmentation. Other services listed on the website include gum grafting for recession, periodontal disease treatment, LANAP laser gum treatment, crown lengthening, and tooth extractions. The practice welcomes both patients referred by their general dentist and those seeking specialist care on their own, with a stated goal of clear answers, gentle treatment, and long-term oral health. Hickory Periodontics can be reached at (828) 465-0187.
