Dr. Patel was very professional, compassionate and understanding. I have always been nervous about visiting the dentist but she took the time to explain the procedure in detail and made every effort to keep me comfortable throughout my visit. Her excellent communication and social skills helped ease my anxiety. This was my first visit to the clinic, and I had a very positive experience. I highly recommend Dr. Patel and her team.

My son and I had our first cleanings here and we will be returning customers! Loved every single interaction from front desk to exit convo. Dr. Patel and Erica the hygienist are the best!!!!

I am very disappointed with this dental office. Over the years, both of my brothers, my mom, and I have seen multiple dentists here, and there seems to be a constant turnover of providers. Every time a dentist leaves and a new one comes in, we’re told that they don’t agree with the treatment or work done by the previous dentist and that additional procedures are now needed. This has made it very difficult to trust the recommendations we’re receiving. The frequent changes in staff create confusion and a lack of continuity of care. Instead of feeling confident about our dental treatment, we are left wondering which opinion to believe. The office feels disorganized, and communication has been poor regarding why dentists keep leaving and how patient care is being handled during these transitions. When it comes to something as important as our oral health, trust is essential. Unfortunately, after our experiences, my family no longer feels confident placing our dental care in the hands of this office. I would not recommend this practice to others looking for consistent and reliable dental care.

Dr. Patel is very professional and makes you feel comfortable. She takes the time to explain everything she does. In my personal experience the staff and assistants are very welcoming. The office in Elgin is clean and has a good vibe. Appreciate all they do!

This review way overdue, but it explains everything thoroughly and why you should avoid this clinic at all costs. I recently moved in the area and had been avoiding switching dental providers since I was very happy with my old provider. However, after multiple hour and a half drives to the previous provider (multiple family members), I decided it was time to find someone in the area. I went to High Point based on their positive reviews and seemingly very happy clients, back in November of 2024. I walked in to schedule an annual appointment. I knew that I had paid my insurance annual already (previous appointment in Jan at another clinic) and so I was trying to make sure I completed the new appointment in the same year (2024). They were initially scheduling me in January and then after some back and forth, they gave me a date in December. I received a call in December rescheduling the appointment for an additional week, but it was fine since I was still within the year. Came in for my appointment on the allotted day with Dr. LaRocca. I asked what the payment would be or an estimation of treatment costs and was told that would be after Dr checks me out. Fast forward, apparently there was way too much going on and I needed multiple treatment procedures. Hm... Anyway, after getting the list of services I would need, I went to the front desk and asked what my insurance would cover and how much the visit for today be. They said they would still have to submit the claim to insurance and that there was no possible way to determine cost at this time. Okay, no problem. I left and seemingly moved on with my life. The next month, my husband also came in for an appointment, same thing happened there; a huge list of services needed, no estimated cost, and there would be no probable total (except the yearly $100 co-payment to be paid out due to insurance). Now, after this, the next appointments were scheduled (6 months out for both of us) and we seemingly just moved on. In June of 2025, I received a call from High Point and unfortunately, missed that call as I was traveling internationally with a 10 hour time difference. Heard the voicemail when I woke up asking me to call them back and pay a balance. There was some back and forth and was told that there was a balance due for my procedures. I was confused as to why this was being done 6 months after my services. They claimed that insurance was not covering the cost. Towards the middle/end of June 2025, I called insurance and discovered there was an issue with my account (it was showing that there was a gap in benefits from July 2024-December 2024. However, upon speaking with a customer service agent, I was assured that it was resolved and that the dental clinic could resubmit the claim. I forwarded that information to High Point, who assured me that they will file the claim again (after a lot of argumentation where they said it was supposed to be me who submits the claim). The claim filed again and I received another payment link from High Point in July 2025. Called insurance, called the dental office, claim submitted again and this entire procedure happened multiple times in July, August, September, November, and December of 2025. I returned back home in August of 2025 and went straight to High Point from the airport because of how annoyed I was at this point. They were very dismissive, aggressive, and basically pointed me back out the door. Received payment links multiple times a month until March of 2026. My insurance has said that the claim was already fully paid out properly and I do not owe anything on my end (this was already resolved with my insurance back in July of 2025). I asked insurance for a breakdown of what services they were claiming insurance payout for and there are various charges for repeated services. At this point, I have already submitted claims with the BBB and going to file a claim with Illinois Attorney General. Please be careful when coming to this office and for the sake of peace of mind, skip over here all together and find another dental office.
